IMPROMPTU SPEECHESThis combines two of the hardest skills in one activity. Think on your feet and persuade others with your eloquence. I can't get enough of the exercise. I normally get the exercise by going to public speaking clubs where I am asked to comment, on the spot, on a subject that has been given to me by one of the members in the form of a question . This speech requires me to think on my feet as I speak because I had no idea what the subject would be before I walked into the public speaking clubs and I am given no time to prepare for my comments and I have to make a few appropriate comments in front of a group of people on the subject just dished out to me. I keep it fun for me to continue learning by constantly looking for humor I can incorporate into this kind of speech. My next goal is to look for a debating club where participants can learn how to think and persuade others while standing on their feet and giving impromptu speeches.
