Taking Back Sunday is the first emoish band i ever listened to.
So basically, if it wasn't for their incredible album Tell All Your Friends, this page wouldn't be here.
So if you like this page, thank them by buying their cd, and if you
don't like this page...well..get over it. So yeah, they need a second album...
March 26, 2002, it seemed to be an ordinary day. but yet, there was something different. Emo kids were crowding
the stores, all in search of one new CD. Tell All Your Friends!!! With the release of this epic album, Taking Back Sunday was
born and became a well known name in the punk community. After this album was released, They left for the Takeover Tour, their first
headlinging tour. After this tour was over, Taking Back Sunday planned to leave for Europe. One problem...
Singer/Guitarist John Nolan and Bassist Shaun Cooper decided to leave the band for "...personal and professional reasons...".
Whatever, you just wanted to start Straylight Run. Fortunately they were able to refill their line-up with Fred Mascherino, from Breaking Pangaea, and Matt Rubano, a bassist who
assisted with Lauryn Hill's grammy winning album. They recently finished a tour with various bands such as From Autmun To Ashes. Rumors have it a new album is in the works. We can only hope...
