Something Corporate
Something Corporate

Okay, they've got a piano playing emo music, with a whole band behind it and everything. How could they not be cool?! So the first song I heard by so co was Konstantine, quite possibly the best song I have ever heard in my life. Unfortunately this great song is on none of their albums. This song was the first emo song I ever heard and inspired me to listen to more emo stuff. I have learned how to play this song on the piano. I'm obsessed with it. If you haven't heard it, you are way behind in the times. But yea, Something Corporate has a great sound, especially with that piano in their. Listen to them.

I love this. He's just on the piano. See thats why it's more fun to play piano. You can stand on it.

anyway... i havent really found much of a biography on these guys yet to throw down here, but they started out with the EP Audio Boxer with Drive-Thru in 2001, and it was way to pop for them. then in 2002, first full record Leaving Through the Window, which still had some of the pop...okay a lot of the pop, but they were working on it. then in 2003 they released their sophmore album North. This cd sounded like a whole different band. their style was definately more mature, much less pop, the lyrics were deep, and the overall sound of it was just better. The song that every so co fan should be familiar with by now is Konstantine. This amazing nine and a half minute long song is not featured on any albums, but is easily their best song. It's just...WOW! I dunno. I'll try to get a better bio up here soon.
