Yesterday we had the viewing for my brother.  So many people came in and out that it was hard to keep track.  It was nice to see how many people cared about him.  We did not announce the service in the obituary; so the people that came were people who heard by word of mouth starting from our family or who took the time to call the funeral home to find out when it was.  We are having his funeral service and burial today.  So many people are helping .. from helping with the cost of his funeral, with support, with a headstone, with helping to distribute fliers, with contacting the detectives on the case.  Thank y0u so much ... all of you.

We also had a memorial walk/candlelight vigil beginning from the spot where he was attacked and walking down to where he drove when he got back into his car.  Here again, so many people came in support ... I would like to thank all of you as well.

My sister, who drove in from Colorado, did not make it up in time for the viewing, so I will need to go up to the funeral home with her early in order for her to visit with him on her own.

This morning, we bury my brother.  This afternoon, we go to work on finding out who did this in order for them to face justice.
