As with all my other birds they are provided with shelter for them to escape any bad weather. Worming is undertaken 4 times a year as a prevention against infestation. Treatment against air sac mite etc is also part of the health regime I undertake.

| There don't seem to be any ailments that are specific to Orange Breasted Waxbills. They seem to be fairly hardy, surprisingly so given the size of the bird.
