Pair of White Headed Munias
My White Headed Munia Pair
My Munias had not been looking like they are going breed.  The main reason was that I was not sold a pair - but instead two males.  This made for interesting viewing as they competed against each other in their displaying.  But I eventually thought I should replace one with a female.

I finally found one, they are not an easy bird to sex so I was very pleased to find one that was obviously a mature bird with a "dirtier" head.

Hopefully this pairing will lead to some success.  The male has been displaying well and they do look like the get along quite well.
