this is my version of what happened at least what i can remember
ok basically final fantasy 10 (which from now on will be refered to as "ffx") is about a guy called tidus. his life was luxurious then one day a tidal wave hits his town and then he gets transported back in time to the land of spira (1000years into the future) which is where he finds out that sin destroyed his town (big monster) which is when he finds himself around a lost temple (which is sunken in the ocean) then a monster tries to eat him but he escapes then the story breaks away from the usual begining shit... he gets picked up by an al bhed ship where he meets rikku and they explore some ruins with the rest of his crew (the al bhed are kind of despised cause they dont follow the laws of yevon which we shall learn about at a later stage) then as per normal there ship is attacked by sin(that big monster) then he wakes up and hes on the shore of a little island called besaid where he sees the besaid blitz ball team ( ok back in his world he was the best blitzball player there was accept for his father ject who disapeared 10 years ago we will learn more later...) where he shows the besaid aurochs (the blitz ball team for there island but im not sure if i spelt auroch corectly) a killer move and wakka (captain of the team and also a guardian of yuna) takes tidus back to town(but not before pushing you into a pirhana infested pond) where he finds out a bit about yevon. (yevon is the main religion, very sacred, and yuna is a summoner) he disobeys the teachings and runs into the cloyster of trials to try and save yuna cause she has been in there for 3 days which is when he meets khimari(sort of a beast), lulu (the mage), later on wakka asks tidus to play blitz ball for there team (which hasnt won a game in over 33 years wow they suck ;] ) then you go outside to see the summoning sequence of valefor(absolute shite) ok now your accompanying the party around the island(you now have lulu, khimari, wakka, tidus, yuna to choose from)to the boat where they will go to the blitzball tournament, and goin to get a new aeon(summonable monster things that fight for you just like the guardian force from ff8) ok you get attacked by sparrows and dogs and a blob of jelly now that we are through that we find out that yuna has been here for 10 years and that sir Ject (tidus's dad) and her dad brought about the last calm which is some good time, ok now to the ship on your way khimari goes beserk cause you tried to look down yuna's shirt too many times(or something) and he attacks you dont worry you dont have to kill him just goto survive his overdrive then someone interferes ok we get to the boat now we are goin to the next temple blah blah blah... as per usual tidus gets some flash backs about his dad(at this time they are bad and about the times when he was geing abusive)then the ship attacks sin cause its heading for the sailors home town but doesnt work and heaps of people die when sin uses his gravity attack to make a tidals wave and blows up the village
(this is yuna performing the sending)
then you arrive and yuna performs the sending to send all the dead people's souls to the farplane(will be discused later). ok im goin to cut back on a little more detail now. now you goto go to the temple to get that fire aeon but since your not allowed in dona throws you in (yuna's rival) dont ask me why. then you get there and yuna has the aeon then when you leave the temple a rival blitz ball team taunts you and yes you will lose the blitzball tounament.
