Is there really a need for those hundreds of stock tickers out there? We like them too, but the professional investment banker
wants more than stock prices; he needs to find financial documents, historical data and news sources
on even obscure companies. The problem is that the search engines just do not get it. Go to Yahoo for instance, and search on the
terms "investment banking." What do you get? Pages about automated teller machines, online banking and
and getting out of personal debt; we have no doubt that these are great sites, it is just that they are not about
investment banking.
While we are no Yahoo, financeprofessional.com tries to do its small part in finding links of interest to
investment bankers. Here are links to some of the web sites that financeprofessional.com finds most
indispensable, including links to the best financial magazines and newspapers under News Sources,
data providers and other interesting links under Financial Tools, and links to sites that might help you on
your next accounting question under Accounting Resources. If you know a link that we should be including, suggest a link.
FreeEdgar.Com Why bother with all those commercial sites for your SEC documents when you can find the vast majority here
