Summary: The Flash raps up his long running series with the conclusion of the trial storyline.
Flash was found guilty of murdering his long-time foe, the Reverse-Flash. In this issue, Flash
clears his name and is reunited with his wife, Iris. But their happiness is short-lived as Barry
Allen, the second Flash meets his end in Crisis On Infinite Earths #8. Wally West, the former
Kid Flash, takes his place and a new Flash series began with his adventures. With Infinite Crisis, a sequel
of sorts to Crisis On Infinite Earths, history repeats itself as DC decided to cancel and relaunch the Flash book
again. In The Flash Vol. 2 #230, Wally faces off against Vandal Savage. At the end of the book, Wally contemplates
retiring to take care of his family. A word box on the last page thanks the fans for the 19-year run and
to look for the all-new Flash #1 in a few months.
