History: 1951-1968 #1-168 (becomes Doctor Strange #169-183), 1973-Nov 1976 #169-188 Summary: Strange Tales was an anthology series, featuring monsters and science fiction. IN #110, Doctor Strange was introduced. With #169 the book was renamed Doctor Strange and lasted until #183. A few years later, Strange Tales was revived and continued the numbering of the original series, but ignored the Doctor Strange issues. The last issue reprinted Doctor Strange stories from Strange Tales #140-141. It says to follow Doctor Strange in his own magazine which had been continued with a #1 and the Defenders.
