SAIYAN SAGA About the first four episodes of Dragonball Z have to do with the arrival of Goku's brother, Raditz. Goku, who has grown up on the earth his whole life, is unaware of his alien heritage. Raditz informs a much surprised Goku, that he is part of a warrior race known as Saiyans. The Saiyans use their extraordinary powers to take over planets and then sell them to the highest bidder. When Goku refuses to join his brother, Raditz becomes impatient and kidnaps Gohan (Goku's young son). Goku tries to stop him put Raditz knock the wind out of him and takes off with Gohan. Things look bad, since Goku is the Earth's strongest fighter. Despite the bleak outlook, Goku decides to fight Raditz. Just before he takes off, Piccolo arrives. Piccolo is from the planet Namek, but has been Goku's rival for some time now. Putting aside thier differences, Piccolo and Goku join forces to eliminate the bigger threat - Raditz. Goku and Piccolo are very equal in power, and together they form the world's strongest team. Despite their pooled efforts, Piccolo and Goku find Raditz to be stronger. It could all be over... but wait... Gohan reveals his true power! The four year old boy attacks Raditz upon seeing his father suffering. The blow weakens Raditz enough to allow Goku to hold Raditz, while Piccolo charges up a special attack. The attack kills Raditz, but takes Goku down also. Raditz lies dying on the ground, as Piccolo informs him of earth's Dragonballs. He tells Raditz that Goku's friends will certainly gather all seven balls and summon the Eternal Dragon. Their wish, granted by the Eternal Dragon, will resurrect Goku. Raditz informs Piccolo that his device he uses to sense powerlevels is also a transmitter. Everything Piccolo just said was heard by the other Saiyans. Raditz tells them that they have one year before the other Saiyans arrive... and the others are much stronger... Shocked, Piccolo finishes Raditz off and then joins Goku's friends, who have just arrived and are gathered around their fallen comrade. Goku tells them to take care of Gohan, and that he'll be back. Then Goku dies... However, the earth's protector Kami, having heard about the coming of the Saiyans, takes Goku to King Yama. King Yama decides what happens to everyone that dies. Kami tells King Yama of the earth's predicament, and asks him to allow Goku to travel the dangerous Snake Way and seek the training of the legendary King Kai. This roughly marks the end of the first four episodes of Dragonball Z. The next 11 or so episodes encompass Goku's journey to King Kai's, The other Z fighters (Goku's friends) training for the arrival of the Saiyans, and Gohan's special training with Piccolo. The Z team includes: Krillin, who is a short monk who became Goku's best friend in Dragonball; Tien, the 3-eyed man who is another close friend of Goku's which he met in the original Dragonball series; Chaozu the short pale skinned friend of Tien; and of course Yamcha, who used to be Bulma's boyfriend. They have one year to prepare for the arrival of the Saiyans. They train at Kami's lookout, and at one point are taken on a mental combat simulation (sort of virtual reality). It is here that the four Z-fighters square off against two Saiyans. The Saiyans crush the Z-fighters in the simulation. Kami thought that it would be good to show the Z-fighters the startling reality of the Saiyan's strength. When the exercise is finished, the Z-fighters are informed that the Saiyans approaching earth are twice as strong as those in the simulation. The Z-fighters vow to train vigorously for the inevitable arrival of these super-powerful beings. As the Z-fighters train up on Kami's lookout, Piccolo trains Gohan. He must turn Gohan from a crying four year-old boy to a warrior, and he only has one year to do it. After seeing Gohan's true power in the fight with Raditz, Piccolo feels Gohan will be a big asset when the other Saiyans arrive. Gohan must endure wilderness survival training and sparing with Piccolo, as he matures a great deal. Piccolo and Gohan eventually grow quite fond of eachother, as a sort of teacher-student bond forms between them. During this period Gohan is also subjected to the Finally, the Saiyans arrive... Nappa the larger bald one and Vegita the smaller Saiyan, who plays a major role in DBZ from here on out. I won't go into too much detail on the fight. They demand to know where the Dragonballs are.. but earth's special forces showed up to fight not to give in to their demands.. and so the battle begins. Basically, the Saiyans arrive and are way more powerful than the Z-team (even with Gohan and Piccolo). First Nappa releases these plant like creatures known as Saibamen. Each Saibaman has a powerlevel equal to that of Raditz (1200). Yamcha is killed in the battle with the Saibamen, but everyone else survives. Then Nappa joins the fray, and the warriors learn that an Elite Saiyan is very tough. Everyone dies, (including Piccolo who sacrifices himself to save Gohan) except Gohan and Krillin. Gohan and Krillin are about toast when Goku returns. Goku immediately beats the crap out of Nappa, who is promptly killed by Vegita for his failure. Then Gohan and Krillin leave in fear of becoming hinderances in the upcoming battle. Next is the fantastic finish to the "Vegita Saga," which pits Goku against his strongest opponent yet, VEGITA! Vegita is unimpressed by Goku's Kaioken attack, so Goku tries a double and still isn't good enough to compete. Pushing his body to the limit Goku attempts a Kaioken X3! His power level increases at a tremendous rate, and as he engages Vegita again, he proves to be too quick for the Saiyan Prince. Vegita can't understand how Goku increased his powerlevel so much in just one year. Angry and frustrated, he decides to just blow earth up entirely. He flies high above Goku and starts to charge up his Gamit Gun. A tired Goku has no choice but to gather his strength, and charge up a Kamehameha. Vegita: "Let's see what you have Kakarot! GAMIT GUN, FIRE!!" Goku counters it with his Kamehameha, and neither beam is winning. They are equally as strong.. until Goku pushes himself to an incredible Kaioken X4 and overpowers Vegita's attack. Vegita is so pissed now! He realizes that the only way to win is to use artificial moonlight to transform himself. All Saiyans (who have a tail) have the ability to transform at a full moon into their "Weremonkey state." In his transformed state, Vegita proves to be too much for Goku. He is about to finish Goku, when Gohan, Krillin, and the coward Yajirobe intervene. Yajirobe reluctantly cuts Vegita's tail off causing Vegita to return to normal. After his fight with Goku, Vegita is not quite at full power, so Gohan is able to hold his own against. Meanwhile, Krillin receives some Spirit Bomb energy from the severely wounded Goku. Krillin throws the energy at Vegita, which initially misses it's target, but hits Vegita when Gohan bounces it back at him. The blow nearly finishes him off.. and after Gohan transforms into a Weremonkey, it's all over for Vegita (American episode #26). Krillin had the opportunity to finish Vegita, but Goku told him not to. They allow Vegita too escape, who returns half-dead to Freeza's base. The Z Project FREEZA SAGA The earth is safe thanks to Goku and the rest of the Z-team. Unfortunately, most of the team died in the battle with the Saiyans. There's a catch to it also. Normally, the earth's Dragonballs could be gathered to wish them back to life, right? Here's a little DBZ history. Piccolo's father and Kami used to be one being. When they split, the evil side of Kami became Piccolo's father (Piccolo-Daimaou). Daimaou has since died, but not before he had an offspring, Piccolo. Piccolo and Kami are still related so that when Piccolo died in the battle with the Saiyans, Kami died with him. Oh! I almost forgot... The Dragonballs disappear when Kami dies, seeing as he created them. On the bright side, the team learns that other Dragonballs exist on Namek (Piccolo's homeworld). When Nappa's spacepod gets destroyed, Mr. Popo shows Bulma how to operate the ship that Piccolo came to earth in a long time ago. But who's going to go to Namek? Goku's physical body was damaged so severely in the battle with Vegita, he is be unable to go. Krillin and Gohan (despite protests from Chi Chi) accompany Bulma. After a few tight spots on the way to Namek, they arrive. In the meantime, Vegita has recovered at Freeza's base! He learns that Freeza is on Namek and already in search of the Dragonballs. Vegita becomes furious and rushes off to Namek to gather the balls for himself. This is the introduction of Freeza, the strongest known warrior in the universe (at this time). Vegita, Nappa, and Raditz were working for freeza in the Vegita Saga (although Vegita had already been thinking about overthrowing him, hence his interest in the Dragonballs). Anyway back to the story... Freeza is gathering the Dragonballs on Namek, with the aid of his "right-hand man" Zarbon and "left-hand man" Dodoria. They go from village to village killing Nameks and demanding the Dragonballs. Meanwhile, Vegita touches down on Namek and is almost immediately intercepted by Kui, another one of Freeza's henchmen. Not realizing how strong Vegita has become (because as you know Saiyans get stronger after every battle), Kui gets wasted. Gohan and Krillin also have their first battle, facing off against two of Freeza's weaker henchmen. After Freeza's goonies trash their spaceship, Gohan and Krillin open up a can of whoop ass on the losers! Miles away, these battles are being monitored by the scouters of Zarbon and Dodoria. Knowing that he is still not powerful enough to challenge Freeza, Vegita must get the Dragonballs. As he plans his next move, a village close to Gohan and Krillin's location falls under attack. The Nameks fight well, until Dodoria joins the fray. As Dodoria moves in to attack a young Namek boy, Gohan can't control his anger anymore and intervenes. Gohan and Krillin rescue the boy, but are followed by an angry Dodoria. By the way, this is the introduction of Dende, who will grow up and eventually take Kami's place to watch over the Earth. Back to the Story- Gohan, Krillin, and Dende narrowly escape, and on the way back to Freeza, Dodoria runs into Vegita. Knowing Vegita is stronger than him Dodoria bargains for his life. Dodoria tells Vegita that it was actually Freeza that destroyed Planet Vegita (the Saiyan's homeworld), and not a meteor shower. Vegita finds this interesting, but kills Dodoria anyway. Zarbon is next to try, as he eventually tracks down Vegita, and reveals the ugly side of himself. Vegita is beaten to a pulp and taken to Freeza's base on Namek, to heal so he can answer for his treason. Unknown to Freeza and Zarbon, Vegita awakens while in his recovery chamber and manages to steal the Dragonball's that Freeza has gathered. Enraged, Freeza gives Zarbon a one hour ultimatum to get Vegita and the Dragonballs. However, Freeza recognizes that this is already getting out of control and summons the Ginyu Force. The Ginyu Force is his most elite fighting squad... and they are coming... While this is going on Krillin and Gohan befriend the young Namek boy, Dende. takes Krillin to go see the eldest Namek, Guru. They get to Guru's and find Nail watching over Guru. Nail is the strongest of the Namekian warriors. Guru reveals some history about Piccolo, and then uses his power to awaken the hidden potential in Krillin. Amazed, Krillin feels twice as strong, and tells the eldest Namek that he will not let the Dragonballs fall into the wrong hands. Satisfied with Krillin's good intentions, Guru gives him the One-Star Dragonball. Krillin leaves Dende at Guru's place, and returns to Bulma and Gohan with his Dragonball. You're probably wondering what happened to Goku, our hero? And what of the Z-fighters who died on Earth. Well, Piccolo and the other Z-fighters end up making it down Snake Way and they start training with King Kai, just like Goku did. Goku in the meantime finally fully recovers, after he receives some Senzu beans (magical beans from Korin's Tower). To the protests of Chi Chi he leaves in a hurry to catch up with the others on Namek. Dr. Briefs (Bulma's dad and a real technical wiz) has already constructed a spaceship for Goku to travel to Namek. Goku blasts off for Namek hoping he has not missed any action. During his six day journey Goku knows he must be in peak physical condition, so he trains in an artificial gravity machine that can be adjusted to different intensities. He starts of 10x gravity and after he has grown accustomed to it increases the granvity to 20x that of Earth's. He has a close encounter with a star as its gravity was pulling Goku's ship towards it. Using Kaioken and a Kamehameha he escapes this fate. Later, disaster strikes, as Goku's ship gets caught in an interstellar storm, causing the gravity machine to go crazy. After it gets stuck at 100x normal gravity, Goku must summon up every last ounce of strength just to hit the "off" switch! He succeeds, but then gets determined to train in such a harsh environment. During his trip, Goku's grueling training wears him down and he uses Senzu beans to recover his strength. Talk about beefin' in just 6 days! Back on Namek, Zarbon has one hour to resolve this mess, because Freeza's getting pissed! He spots Vegita, who is actually in pursuit of Krillin (returning from Guru's with a Dragonball). Krillin goes to were Bulma has been hiding and learns that Gohan has gone to track down another Dragonball. All of a sudden Vegita Arrives! He demands Krillin's Dragonball... but right behind him is Zarbon. And thus the second battle between these 2 begins. Vegita is stronger after recovering from their first bout, and succeeds in sending Zarbon to the next dimension (kills him). He then threatens to hurt Bulma if Krillin doesn't give him the Dragonball! Reluctantly, Krillin is forced to comply (not like he could have defended the Dragonball anyway!). At this point, Vegita thinks he has all the Dragonballs. This one just taken from Krillin, the 5 stolen from Freeza's ship, and one that he took from a Namekian village earlier (which he hid in a lake). He is unaware that Gohan has used Bulma's Dragonball radar to track down the one hidden in the lake. However, on the way back to Bulma and Krillin, Gohan runs into Vegita. Gohan senses him coming and has time to hide himself and the Dragonball. Vegita can also sense something and demands for Gohan to show himself. Gohan comes out and talks to Vegita. Vegita sees that Gohan is holding the Dragonball radar, but doesn't know what it is. When he asks Gohan what it is, Gohan tells him that it is an antique watch. Growing tired, Vegita cheapshots Gohan and takes off. Dazed, Gohan is merely happy that Vegita did not see his Dragonball... and he returns to Bulma and Krillin's location. Upon returning to the lake, it becomes apparent to Vegita what has happened. He realizes that the Device Gohan had was not just an antique watch. He get super pissed and blasts off to get his revenge! Meanwhile, Gohan returns with the Dragonball and Krillin decides to take Gohan to Guru's place, in order to awaken his hidden powers. Bulma is left with the Dragonball, which is probably a mistake. She loses it in a lake and has to recover it with a Capsole Corp. submarine. Anyway it's not that important. Gohan and Krillin are almost to Guru's place, when they sense Vegita following. Krillin tells Gohan to hurry up and see Guru, while he attempts to stall Vegita. Vegita confronts Krillin and quickly realizes where Gohan is. He speeds off and Krillin flies after him. They arrive at Guru's and Nail comes out and tells Vegita to "go home." Just as Vegita demands to see what's going on inside, Gohan emerges. Vegita threatens Gohan, in order to learn the whereabouts of the other Dragonball. Before the situation climaxes anymore, Dende informs them that Guru senses a super powerful evil force approaching the planet. They all sense it, and Vegita realizes that it must be the Ginyu Force. They don't have much time... Vegita tells our heros that each member of the Ginyu Force is as strong as he is, and the only way that they will survive is to wish him immortal. Not liking the sound of this, Krillin and Gohan fear they might have no choice. They join Vegita and rush back to where Bulma has the other Dragonball. Then they proceed to where Vegita has stashed the 6 balls which he has gathered. After a short arguement on who should get to be immortal, they are immediately confronted by the Ginyu Force! Vegita, Krillin, and Gohan know they are in trouble! A little about the Ginyu Force... There are 5 members: Captain Ginyu, Recoom, Guldo, Jeese, and Burter. They are Freeza's most elite squad, really never have lost a fight, and oh yeah..they are completely nut's. Catain Ginyu was chosen to lead the squad, by King Cold himself (Freeza's dad) because of his body change technique. It is the Captain that does most of the talking at first, and demands that Vegita give them the Dragonballs. At this point 5 are lying on the ground, Vegita is holding one, and Krillin the other. Vegtia tries to get rid off the Dragonball he is holding, by throwing it way out towards the horizon. However, they are all left in slow-motion, as Burter catches up to it with his super speed. Vegita then screams at Krillin, ording him to quickly destroy the other Dragonball. As Krillin raises his fist, the Dragonball suddenly disappears from his hand. The short 4-eyed Guldo has used his ability to control time to take it away from him. Krillin and Gohan can't believe what they are seeing, and get scarred. Vegita is not amused. Captain Ginyu gathers up the Dragonballs, and takes off to deliver them to Freeza. Vegita, Krillin, and Gohan are left to take on the remaining members of the Ginyu Force. Guldo goes first, and prepares to take on Krillin and Gohan, who begin to power up. They fly up into the air simultaneously showing off their increased power. Guldo freezes time for a moment (by holding his breath) and runs for cover. The battle continues; Guldo is out of shape, and getting overwhelmed by Krillin and Gohan. Then he gets mad and summons up all his strength and uses his mind freeze technique on the heros. Krillin and Gohan are now stuck in mid-air, and can't move! Guldo now flies up to them and beats them up a little. He then uses a sort of telekinisis and grabs a tree, which he plans to spear Gohan and Krillin with. He forms it into a stake and sends it flying straights for Krillin! Suddenly, a beam slices through Guldo's neck and he falls to the ground. Vegita drops down next to him and laughs. Taking such a critical shot, Guldo looses his control of the mind freeze. Krillin is free and dodges the tree with who knows how many of hundreths of a second less. Vegita then blasts Guldo and finishes him. Gohan and Krillin are grateful to Vegita. Vegita just tells them he had an old score to settle with Guldo, and that he was not trying to save them. On the otherside, Recoom, Burter, and Jeese are enraged about Guldo's death (not really that they care about him, but now their group pose will be different without him). Recoom now steps forward to take Vegita on. The huge orange-haired titan announces the start of the fight, and does a silly dance and pose. Growing tired of their insanity, Vegita begins to power-up! Energy swirls around him and everyone is shocked by how high his powerlevel has gotten. But is it any match for the Ginyu Force? Vegita attacks Recoom and is winning and even uses his "Final Flash" technique. There is a huge explosion and it looks like the fight is over. However, as the smoke clears, the huge Ginyu is still standing. What is even more amazing, is that he has hardly been scratched by the devasting attack! Recoom decides it is his turn, and after another exchange of blows, Vegita finds himself buried in the ground. Exhausted and injured, the Saiyan Prince might be out of his 9 lives. Wait, Gohan and Krillin join the battle, and save Vegita! As Recoom attacks Vegita with a flame attack eminating from his mouth Krillin kicks him in the back of the head (which shuts his mouth in the middle of the attack), Gohan pulls Vegita out of harms way. Vegita is ungrateful to Gohan and a now toothless Recoom announces that he has had enough. He quickly takes Krillin out in one kick. With Vegita and Krillin down and out, Gohan must bare the load. And a heavy one it is, as Recoom blows poor Gohan out of the water! Meanwhile, Freeza has gathered all the Dragonballs and attempts to make his wish. It doesn't work! Freeza figures with must be some special words you say or something that he is not doing right. He picks up Nail, Dende, and Guru on his scouter and rushes off to find the secret. He leaves Captain GInyu to look after the Dragonballs while he is gone. Captain Ginyu holds try-outs for the Ginyu Force while he watches over the Dragonballs. He ends up killing all the contestants. While the Ginyu try-outs are not going good for Freeza's goons, the fight against Recoom is hopeless. Gohan eventually goes down and it looks like it's all over... but WAIT! Who's spaceship is that touching down a couple miles away? GOKU FINALLY ARRIVES on Namek! As usual he arrives right as the team is about to be annihilated. Goku uses Senzu beans to heal Gohan and Krillin. Gohan was almost dead, and the Ginyu are amazed at the fact they have suddenly been restored to health. Goku reads Krillin's mind, to find out what happened during his absence ("apparently training at 100x normal gravity has extra benefits"). Then he gives Vegita a Senzu bean as a reward for saving Krillin and Gohan from Guldo. Next he confronts Recoom! He displays blinding speed, and takes Recoom out, with a simple elbow to the Sternum! Nobody can believe it... Jeese and Burter attack Goku now! Goku dodges their attacks with ease. Goku can hide his powerlevel from scouters, but Vegita senses his enormous ki. He can feel Goku's power, and it is nuts! He thinks that Goku has become a legendary Super Saiyan! Read on... After undergoing his transformation to his fourth and final form, Freeza killed Vegeta for stating about the Super Saiya-jin to Goku. (Note: Freeza feared the Super Saiya-jin legend.) Goku executed a Genki Dama (Spirit Ball) desperately at Freeza, but an injured Freeza killed Kuririn out of rage. This triggered the anger Goku to transform to a Super Saiya-jin. An intense battle has developed, risking the destruction of Namek. Super Saiya-jin Goku was defeating Freeza, becoming stronger every minute. With his last strength, Freeza triggered the planet to blow up in five minutes and threw Kienzan-like fireballs at him but accidentally got cut in the process. Goku gave Freeza some of his energy to save his live and to fight more but had to kill him rapidly and escape. Goku tried to start Freeza's spaceship but failed as the planet exploded. Bulma, Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta, and the Namekians traveled back to earth with the Namek dragon balls. (Note: The Namekians were revived with the Earth dragon balls. Porunga revived Kuririn but was unable to revive Goku. It seemed that Goku survived the explosion and was training on another planet, learning the Shunkanidou in the process. Vegeta decided to train in space, and everything was safe on Earth for now. One year later Freeza is put back together in a robotic form by his father, King Cold. They arrive on Earth with an army, all hope is lost by the Z warriors, even Vegeta thinks so when he was revived by the DragonBalls. Suddenly, a teenager comes out of nowhere, beats the crap out of Freeza. Not only that, he is a Saiyan! Turing Super Saiyan, he kills Freeza and King Cold with his sword easily. All he says is that he is waiting for Son Goku, then Son Goku appears out of nowhere. Son Goku tells of his troubles and also demonstrates his new teleportation technique. The teenager says that his name is Trunks. He is also the son of Bulma and Vegeta! He is from the future and comes back in time to warn the Z warriors of androids that will terrorize the world in three years. Trunks also says that Son Goku will die from a heart disease. Trunks though has brought medicine for him. Trunks says that he will come back in three years to fight the androids. Now the Z warriors must train for the androids arriving in three years. GARLIC J.R. SAGA Once things get calmed down after the the battle with Frieza, Garlic Jr. returns from the Dead Zone to cause problems once again. He takes Kame and Mr. Popo hostage, and releases his Black Water Mist on the Earth. The evil mist causes people to becomes super violent and turn on one another. Piccolo tricks him into thinking he has been turned by the mist, in order to get close enough to Kame's prison in the bottle. Once the farce is unmasked Kame and Mr. Popo are freed and they take the Sacred Water, the only cure for the mist, to the 7 winds to spread them across the world. Garlic Jr. escaped the Dead Zone by drawing power from the Makioh Star. The star powers his battle against Piccolo, Krillin, and Gohan. Eventually it comes down just like in the movie Dead Zone. Garlic Jr. once again tries to draw the heroes into the Dead Zone and once again Gohan thwarts his attack and bounces him into the Dead Zone instead. With Garlic Jr. gone, there is one thing left. Krillin and Gohan go after a giant pearl to give Krillin's girlfriend, Marron. But during the quest for the pearl, Krillin realizes he has to let Marron go. The give up the chase on the pearl and return to the surface. Krillin let's Marron go and the Garlic Jr. Mini Series draws to a close. ANDROID SAGA After Vegeta has returned from his search for Goku, he and his new allies, the Z warriors, notice a mysterious youth in the distance fighting 2 strange enemies. It is Trunks! Vegeta's son from the future. He comes back with medicine for Goku's heart condition, that Goku doesn't even know he has. Frieza was rebuilt by his father King Cold, and the duo comes to Earth to exact revenge. Trunks makes quick work of the two of them and delivers a warning to the Z warriors that in 3 years the Earth will fall to a group of malicious androids. Trunks leaves to return to his own time, promising to return in 3 years. After Trunks came to the past at the end of the Frieza Saga and warned the Z Warriors about the coming Androids, everyone trained for 3 years in anticipation of the day the Androids would arrive to destroy mankind. Gohan, Goku, and Piccolo retreat to the mountains to train for the Androids arrival, while Vegeta trains under 450 times Earth Gravity, still trying to surpass Goku. Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, and Choazu train hard for the coming battles. Then after their 3 years of training, the Group of Warriors meets up on an island near where Trunks first arrived. Bulma is there waiting for them, with a baby in her arms!! She tells everyone it is Trunks, the son of her and Vegeta!! Yajirobe shows up in a hovercraft to deliver some Senzu Beans from Karin for the coming fight. Just as he is leaving, Yajirobe's hovercraft explodes (unfortunately he is safe and sound) and the group notices the adroids terrorizing a town nearby. Thus begins the epic battle with the Androids. The warriors split up to search for the Androids, and Yamcha is attacked and beaten by one of them. Sensing his dying power the others go to his aid. Krillin takes Yamcha to Bulma to get a Senzu Bean, while the rest of the Warrior and the two androids go off to a more deserted place to battle. Goku begins battling with Android 19 and is winning but weakly, and suddenly suffers his heart failure. Android 19 kicks him around for a bit before trying to absorb more of Goku's energy. A revived Yamcha, Krillin, and Gohan tell everyone about the Androids' ability to absorb people's power. Vegeta jumps in and saves Goku. Vegeta powers up into SSJ, to everyone's surprise, and defeats Android 19. Android 20, now realizing that he underestimated the Z Warriors' powers, retreats. Vegeta demands a Senzu Bean to restore his used power, and takes off after Android 20, with the other Warriors right behind him. Trunks arrives from the future and sees Android 19's head. He realizes that the Z Warriors are fighting the wrong Androids. Meanwhile, Android 20 is surrounded and tries to absorb Piccolo's energy, but Gohan comes to his rescue and Piccolo is given a Sensu Bean to recover. Bulma and Baby Trunks show up with Yarirobe and Android 20 blows up their ship to draw away attention while he made an escape. Trunks saves Bulma and Baby Trunks, and then Bulma tells her story about the Android she saw. She says that Android 20 is really Dr. Gero, the Android's maker. Dr. Gero made Android 19, so that 19 could make Dr. Gero into an Android (Number 20). The Z Warriors discover that Number 17 and 18 (the real threat) are not awake yet, so they rush to Gero's lab to destroy them. But Gero sees what is happening and head to his lab as well. Gero beats them to his lab, and by the time the Z warriors arrive, the Androids are awakened by Gero and are wrecking their maker's lab. Number 17 beheads Gero and crushes the head. Number 17 and 18 awaken another Android, Number 16 and all the Androids and the Z warriors head to a remote area to battle. The Androids defeat Piccolo, Trunks, Tien, and Vegeta and then head toward Krillin. They admit to him that it was all just a game and that they would gladly fight their enemies again once they have healed. Number 16 however refuses to fight because he was created only to fight the one called Goku. CELL SAGA It is now 3 years after the arrival of the mysterious boy. He had told Goku that they were supposed to train for the arrival of two strong beings, androids, created by Dr. Gero. They did as the mysterious boy told them, they trained hard for three years. They waited for the arrival of the two androids in the place that they were said to be, and there they meet Android #19 and Android #20. Android #19 is the first of a series of creations to destroy Goku. Along with the scheme, Dr. Gero requests Android #19 to make him (Dr. Gero) into a cyborg so that he would become stronger, and so Dr. Gero is transformed to Android #20. The Z Warriors meet with Androids #19 and #20 and the two sides engage in battle. Goku leaves the battle because of his heart disease and leaves the battle to Vegeta. The android is destroyed and Dr. Gero is shattered. Despite the grave defeat, Dr. Gero's cybernetic programming enables him to self-repair, so that he may live to fight again. Android #20 then works on developing a better android model. Meanwhile, he unleashes two of his other creations, Android #17 and Android #18. Androids #17 and #18 get annoyed of Dr. Gero. As a result, Android #17 kills Dr. Gero. But, the doctor had just finished creating Android #21, who is still developing in a giant test tube. Before he dies, he issues the final command to his new android to feast on the rebellious androids. Android #17 and Android #18 leave the lab and unleash Android #16. But as it turns out, Android #16 is a peaceful android. (This can be shown through his love towards the wild animals.) As time passes, the Z Warriors become aware of the new androids as they battle again and again but always reach a stalemate. However, the Z Warriors are still not match for the androids because the androids are robots, and therefore do not tire in a long battle while the Z Warriors eventually run out of energy. Goku suffers a heart attack in one battle and retreats. Trunks, who was sent back in time by future Bulma with medicine to heal Goku's heart so that Goku would live to kill the androids and thus change the future, gives Goku the medicine. Goku is saved, but the Saiyans still do not continue to fight the androids. Instead, they train in a chamber to get stronger. Meanwhile, Piccolo fuses with Kami, his half father, to become stronger (His story is told in the Dragonball series.) Dende, a Namek child, replaces Kami as guardian of the dragonballs. Androids #16, #17, and #18 go to seek Goku to destroy him. Piccolo finds the androids first and begins to fight them. Back in Dr. Gero's lab, Cell has finished developing and breaks out of the giant "test tube", promising to fulfill his creator's wish. Cell flies to find Androids #17 and #18. On his way devours the souls of the unlucky civilians he passes to become stronger. Finally, he meets with the other androids. To our heroes' surprise, they learn that Androids #17 and #18 know nothing about Cell. Cell and Android #17 threaten to kill each other. Android #17 heads out to fight him. But, he does not stand up to Cell and is easily defeated. This is when our heroes learn the great powers of Cell. Android #18 is now worried, but Android #16 flies out to fight Cell. To everybody's amazement, Android #16 is able to stand up to Cell. However, he is still destroyed. Cell now heads for his goal and devours Android #17 with his tail. Cell now changes into Cell--form 2. With the power of Android #17 combined to his, he becomes stronger than ever. Then, he heads over to devour Android #18. Android #18 tries to escape, but she is still eventually devoured. Cell now changes into Cell form 3, and becomes "Perfect Cell" Cell, after devouring the souls of so many people, is no longer an android and becomes organic. After Cell is gone, Bulma collects the body parts of Android #16 and repairs him. Android 16 is re-programmed to fight on the Z Warriors' side. Our heroes now head out to fight Cell. Mr. Satan attempts to fight to fight Cell, claiming to be the strongest man in the world, but does no damage to Cell. It is now Goku's turn to do battle with Cell. A battle that is so fast, that a regular person cannot see it with the naked eye. At first, the two just play around and give the other hopes, but later on, they fight for real and this proves to be a very hard battle. Goku does a Kamehameha to Cell that blows away his head and arms, but Cell, with Piccolo's power is able to grow out a new one. After this things look bad for Goku, and so he gives up and tells his son, Gohan to fight instead. Gohan does as his father tells him, but is still not fighting with his maximum power. Cell tries to make Gohan angry so he can release his powers by expelling from his body 7 Cell Juniors, miniature blue duplicates of Cell. These Cell Juniors are beating up all of Goku's friends while he is just watching everything. Android 16 tries to destroy Cell by self destructing, but Bulma had taken away the bomb inside him and so Cell kills him. After he is dead his head is still able to talk. And so Android 16 asks Mr. Satan to throw his head towards Gohan so he can talk to him and so he does (this is the only real thing that Mr. Satan does in this tournament). When Android 16's head arrives at Gohan's feet, he talks to him and tells him that some people will never understand with words, and to let out all of his hidden powers. At this Cell walks towards Gohan and steps on Android 16's head, which finally kills him. The death of Android 16 triggers his anger, an enraged teenage Gohan powers up and reaches Super Saiyan level 2. Gohan then destroys all the Cell Juniors and fights Cell easily, while not even Goku was able to keep up with them (The Cell Jr's.). In a following battle, Cell is kicked and Android #18 is spit back out. (She is unconscious.) Cell turns back into form 2 and is defeated. But, he activates his self destruction mode so that when he dies, the world will blow up with him. To save the Earth, Goku teleports Cell out of Earth and into Kai's planet, where Cell blows up. Thus, Goku, Kai, Bubbles, and Gregory die as well. The Z Warriors mourn the loss of Goku, but cheer at the victory over Cell at the same time. A fireball flies out of nowhere and pierces through Trunks. Upon Trunks' death, Cell, in form 3, appears. He tells that when he blew up, a brain cell survived. From the cell, other cells multiplied and he was once again formed. Cell happily laughs as he tells that he is amazed he is able to rebuild himself into form 3! Then, Cell threatens to destroy the earth. Now it is up to Gohan to try to save our planet. With one arm (the other injured when he went to let a fireball meant for Vegeta hit him), Gohan prepares a fireball. He fires at Cell and Cell fires back. A stalemate is meant, but with Kai's help, Goku is able to talk to Gohan and encourages him. Meanwhile, Krillin protects the unconscious Android #18 and Yamcha, Tienshinhan, and Vegeta attack Cell in hope that this will Gohan distract Cell. With the help of the now dead Kai, Goku, also dead, is able to communicate with Gohan and encourages him to use all his power to defeat Cell. Gohan overpowers Cell and Cell is disintegrated by Gohan's fireball. (But, Sataan takes credit for Cell's death because of his lies to the reporters.) At the end, the warriors gather the dragonballs to bring those killed by Cell back to life. However, Goku is still dead because he was already brought back to life once and cannot come back again, but tells that he is okay and is now with King Ki. Android #18 awakens and flees. However, everybody learns here that Krillin has developed a crush on Android #18! At the end of this series, there is a short memorial about the life of Goku. And there is peace on Earth BUU SAGA Seven years have passed since the Cell game. Gohan starts attending Orange Star High School in Satan City (yes, they named the city after Mr. Satan). There he meets Mr. Satan's daughter Videl. She is a crime fighter and is always there when something bad happens in Satan City. Gohan had gone to Satan City a couple of times before he started school, and each time he went he had to save the city from some criminals. Instead of having everyone find out who he was he would turn into a super saiyan and so he got the name of "The Golden Warrior". Videl arrives to the crime scene late and a man that saw the whole thing tells Videl that the person who saved the city was a young man with blonde hair, the school emblem, white shirt, black vest, and orange pants. So Videl goes to school and asks the guys with blonde hair if it was them. Then she accuses Gohan that it is him because he was wearing what the man had described, but he reminds her that he doesn't have blonde hair. She then tells him that she was wrong about him and hat she didn't mean to accuse him, but she still has a suspicion because she is remembers seeing some men that were able to turn their hair blonde during the Cell tournament from some of her dad's old tapes, but her dad had told her it was just a dumb trick and so she forgets the idea. Since Gohan finds out that she is going to discover him he goes to Bulma to ask her to make him something. She does and he is now the Great Saiyaman. In his disguise he saves a lot of people and now Videl wants to find out who the Great Saiyaman is because he saves her two times. She finally does find out Gohan's secret, by a scar that Gohan had on his face, and begs him to teach her how to fly. She also makes Gohan join the Tenkaichi Budokai so that they can fight against each other in the final, and so he finally agrees. About this time Gohan goes to Capsule Corp and asks Bulma to make him something else for his head so that he will be able to fight in the tournament, because the helmet he had now was not allowed. When Vegeta hears that Gohan was joining the tournament he tells Gohan that he too will enter because he wanted to see if he was now stronger than Gohan. A voice comes out of nowhere and says that he too is joining the tournament. It's Goku! Goku tells them that he will be granted one day to fight in the tournament and so Gohan goes and tells the other Z warriors. Krillin was living with Kamesenin along with his wife #18 and his daughter Marron. When #18 finds out that the tournament winner would receive one million dollars, she insists on joining and starts training right away. Piccolo is living with Dende at the Kami-tower along with Mr. Popo and says that he too will join. During the meantime, Goku starts to train in heaven. Gohan goes home and tells his mom and we find out that Chi-Chi has a second son named Goten that was born a couple of months after the Cell tournament. Gohan tells his mother that Goku will be coming and she gets so happy and is even happier because she will win a lot of money because she says that Goku and Gohan are sure to win first and second place. She allows Gohan to miss school to train and so Gohan begins his training. Goten tags along and when Gohan asks him to help him he shows Gohan that he too can turn Super Saiyan. Gohan is so surprised and happy. He didn't think that Goten could turn Super Saiyan at such an early age. So now Gohan trains with Goten, but there is a problem. Goten does not know how to fly. Being a nice brother, Gohan tells Goten that he will teach him to fly. At this moment, Videl comes in and reminds Gohan that he promised her that he would teach her to fly. So the next day they start their flying lessons. Goten gets it right away and Videl learns a little while afterwards. At the same time Vegeta too trains in the time room with Trunks. He was training under a lot of gravity and it was too much for Trunks. Vegeta asks him to leave because he would only get hurt, but then Trunks turns Super Saiyan and starts running all over the place. Vegeta is very surprised and finds out that Goten too can turn Super Saiyan. The day of the tournament finally arrives, and of course, so does Goku. The children's tournament begins first. Goten gets runner-up and Trunks wins. Being the winner, Trunks gets to fight against Mr. Satan. With one simple punch, Trunks wins, and Mr. Satan says he "let" Trunks win. When the tournament for the adults is about to begin, two strange men appear before Goku, and both of them are finalists in the tournament. The first fight is between Krillin and Punter, and of course Krillin wins. The next fight is between Piccolo and Kaioshin, and for some odd reason, Piccolo refuses to fight him because of the major difference in "dimensions". After the fight Piccolo asks Kaioshin if he is the Grand Kaiosama, but Kaioshin tells Piccolo that he is not, that he is the Supreme Kaiosama, which is the God that the Kaios and the Grand Kaiosama worship. At this Piccolo is very astonished, but promises not to tell anyone. The next fight is between Videl and Supopobichi, Supopobichi wins. It's Gohan's turn to fight next and it is against Kibito. Kibito asks him if he would turn Super Saiyan for him, and so he does. this moment, two men with "M"s on their foreheads, named Supopobichi and Yamu, steal Gohan's energy. The two run away and head toward a space ship. While Gohan is still unconscious, Kaioshin follows the the two men and then so does Vegeta, Goku, Krillin, and Piccolo (just a few moments before, Piccolo told them who Kaioshin was). Before they leave, Kibito reassures Goku that he will heal Gohan, and so Goku leaves Gohan to Kibito. Kibito does exactly what he said, he gives Gohan's energy back, even a little more than what he had before. While Goku and the others are following Kaioshin, Kaioshin tells them about the story of Buu and Babidi. How Babidi's father, Bibidi, had killed the other Kaioshin. How Bibidi was killed and how Buu got trapped in an egg. After Gohan gets his powers back, him, Videl, and Kibito try to catch up with the others. While at the same time Kibito is telling them the same story. Since most of the participants left, and the tournament must go on, some fights continue and we get to the finals. It is between Number 18 and Mighty Mask (which is Goten and Trunks in disguise), to see who gets to fight the almighty Mr. Satan. # 18 figures out who Mighty Mask is and so Mighty Mask is disqualified. # 18 is up to fight Mr. Satan. Mr. Satan is very scared of her because he saw the fight against Mighty Mask and knew what she could do. So # 18 takes advantage and tells him that he will let him win if he gives her 2 million dollars (remember, the prize was one million) and so Mr. Satan accepts and he wins the tournament. At the same time, Goku and the rest enter the ship, while Piccolo and Krillin stay outside because they were turned into stone by Darbura's spit. As they enter different stages they have to pass some obstacles, like fighting some bad guys, but of course the warriors win all of them. But then it's Gohan's turn to fight (he had not trained at all) and he is up to fight Darbura (Babdi's main guy). The fight seems pretty even and is barely starting. Darbura stops fighting and reports to Babidi. He tells him that he has a plan. Since he had felt that Vegeta was evil (he kept screaming at Gohan and Goku), he wanted for him to be on their side. And so Babidi posses Vegeta and he becomes Majin Vegeta (with an "M" on his forehead). All Majin Vegeta wants to do is fight against Kakaroto (Goku). They are transported onto the tournament (the final battle had just finished) and Vegeta blows up 2 sections of it, killing a lot of innocent by standers. This upsets Goku very much and finally agrees to fight him. In this conversation with Vegeta, Goku discovers that he let himself be possessed by Babidi on purpose, because this was the only way to get Goku to fight against him because he (Goku) had only one day of life on Earth. In order for no more people to be killed, they are transported to another place where there are no people and so the fight begins there. While Gohan and Kaioshin enter Babidi's ship. The intense fight between Vegeta and Goku gives Buu enough energy to be revived. So Buu finally wakes up and now Vegeta finally realizes good always triumphs over evil and self-destruct in hope to kill Buu. Goku then heads to battle against Buu, Goku turns SSJ2, then SSJ3 but he still can't defeat Buu. Later Gohan heads to the Kaio-shin's planet for training. Before Goku's time is up on Earth he teaches Goten and Trunks the fusion technique, then they get trained by Piccolo so they can be strong enough to beat Buu. Soon after Goten and Trunks fuse to become Gotenks, later Gotenks turns SSJ1 and SSJ3. Gotenks is defeating Boo, but Boo absorbs Gotenks and becomes a lot stronger. Kaio-shin sacrifices his life so Goku can live. Goku, now alive, teleports to the battle. Soon after King Yama grants Vegeta life to fight Buu. When Goku arrives to the scene he tells Gohan to fuse with him, Goku then throws a fusion earring at Gohan. Gohan drops the earring and Boo absorbs Gohan. Then Vegeta comes to the scene, Vegeta fuses with Goku to become Vegetto. Vegetto defeats Buu, but lets himself get absorbed to rescue their friends (this wears the fusion off). They rescue Goten, Gohan, Trunks, and Piccolo through Boo's pores. All of the energy that Boo has taken, restores him back to his normal form, then Boo destroys the Earth. Kaio-shin teleports to help Goku teleport Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, Satan and Dende to Kaio-shin's planet. Goku and Boo start to fight, Goku starts to get beaten up badly. Vegeta jumps into the battle so Goku can create a Spirit Bomb The Namek Dragonballs are gathered to wish back the Earth and to wish back everyone killed by Boo. The third wish is stored for later use. Goku's Genki-dama is ready , Goku throws it and Boo pushes it back. Vegeta tells Dende to wish back all of Goku's strength back. Now with all his strength restored, Goku throws back the Spirit Bomb at Boo. Boo can't counter so he is killed. Ten years after the battle against Boo, Boo is reincarnated into an evil cleansed from called Uboo. Goku decides to train him since he has great potential. Gohan and Videl get married and have a daughter named Pan. This is the end of Dragonball Z. BEBI SAGA Ten years after the end of DragonBall Z, Son Gokou gets turned into a child again by a wish Pilaf made. The only way Son Gokou can get back in his normal state is by finding the Black Star DragonBalls scattered across space.Son Gokou, Pan , and Trunks go on journeys battling minor villans. At one planet, the DragonBall gang stumbles across Baby. Baby sneaks on board and lands on Earth. Baby takes over bodies in hope of finding a good host. Baby first uses Goten and Gohan as hosts, but he finally finds the most powerful host, it is Vegeta! Vegeta now turns into Bebi-Vegeta. A great battle between Son Gokou and Vegeta begins. It turns out Son Gokou is no match for Bebi-Vegeta. Then Kaiousin pulls out Son Gokou's tail, hoping he can go into Oozaru stage. It works, but Son Gokou still cannot defeat Bebi-Vegeta, who now is Super Bebi (Oozaru Bebi-Vegeta). Then something weird happens, Son Gokou takes control of his body now and transforms into SSJ4 Son Gokou! Son Gokou soon defeats Super Bebi. (Note: Babi-Vegeta can also turn to SSJ4). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Long Story Ten years have passed, Goku had left with Ubuu to train him. Now the boy has progressed greatly and both enjoy a combat in the palace of God. The appearance of one of Goku's old enemies changes everything. Pilaf (from Dragonball), discoveres some Dragonballs with black stars in them. Thinking that there is no difference, he calls upon the dragon, but is discovered by Goku. Pilaf, seeing that he can't do a thing against him, whispers to himself that if Goku where still a little kid it would be easier for him to defeat him. The dragon hears the wish and grants it. Now goku is a kid again, that's not the worse part of it, King Ki informs them that if they don't get those dragonballs (that are gathered through the universe) before one year passes, the planet in which the wish was made will be destroyed (the planet Earth). At hearing this, Bulma and Gohan prepare a spaceship for the search that Goku, Trunks, and Goten are to make. The bad thing is that Pan, also wants to go, and was mad because she was not able to go and makes accidentally makes the ship leave (with her inside), leaving Goten behind. The three (Goku, Trunks, and Pan) are now about to begin there search, but a part of the ship gets broken so they must stop in a planted called Imegga. There, they meet and steal a small robot, because it ate the dragon radar. The robot's name is Gill (Now the dragon radar and Gill are one). On that planet they defeat a being the name of Don Keer, because he had taken their space ship. They get their ship back, fix it and continue their search. Thanks to Gill, they find two balls in the planets Moonmars and Kelbo, but in the last planet, an unknown character steals it. They stop their chase and discover that this character (Bonpara), along with two assistants (Donpara y Sonpara) work for the master Orador, that wants to resurect the God of destruction Loud. In the end the god awakens, although the master Orador get to converts Pan into a doll for a while, he is defeated. During these adventures we meet a character by the name of Dr. Myu. One of Dr. Myu's project is Baby. Baby is the only surviving Tsufuru of Planet Plant, which was destroyed by the Saiyans back when the Saiyans worked as mercenaries for Frieza. As the only survivor, Baby wants revenge on all Saiyans, innocent or guilty. Dr. Myu found Baby in space and saved him. Baby has the power to take over bodies and acquire his victims' power. Later, Baby takes over Dr. Myuu's body and kills him in the betrayal. Following this trip they find another dragonball in the planet Luzede and are lead by Gill to a planet where there are millions of copies of him (Gill). This planet is property of its creator, Dr. Myu, that along with his bodyguard Rilld, plans to gather the energy of the Saiyans to give life to his creation: the mutant Baby. Although they are defeated by Rilld, they are not able to extract enough energy and Baby is brought back to life incomplete, and is defeated easily. Baby then pocesses Rilld and later escapes pocessing Dr. Myu. They have no problems defeating Rilld, and without being able stop Dr. Muy, they leave on their journey with the now regretting Gill. Gill discovers another dragonball and although small, ends up being another procession of Baby (even after Baby has left their bodies, an egg stays inside them and they are zombies). In the end he dominates Trunks, but through a mental fight, he is able to undue himself from his control and continues on his mission. Not to long before they unite all of the dragonballs, Baby is able to get to Earth and possesses Gohan and Goten, which cause Vegeta to be introduced. Baby then decides on a body, Vegeta's! Now he is known as Vegeta-Baby, and destroys Gill. Pan is able to save herself because Boo, saves her along with Satan. Mr. Popo, also under the control of Baby, makes a wish to make a new Planet Plant, Baby's original planet. The new planet appears and since it has no inhabitants, he decides to trap humans in it. Meanwhile, Goku discovers a way to defeat Vegeta-Baby, and for this he needs for his tail to grow back again. Now with a tail, Goku travels to Planet Plant,not even in SSJ3 form is he able to defeat Baby, So thenSSJ3 Goku gets defeated easily by Bebi Vegeta. It is now, that he is half dead, looks at the full Earth (yeah just like the full moon) and transforms into Oozaru, although now he has a gold coat. At first he losses control and starts destroying everything, but thanks to Pan he calms down. Now he goes through another transformation, Super Saiyin Goku 4, and he now has a reddish coat. He is now conscious and puts Pan in a safe place and faces Vegeta-Baby. Goku is now a lot stronger than Baby. So now Bulma (under mind control as well), invents a gadget to make her husband to transform into Oozaru, making the tables turn. After a long and hard battle, both end up on the floor and unconscious. In this moment, Kaio-shin discovers a way to release everyone from Baby's mind control. It is called Chou-zui water. Kaio-shin goes to Sky Palace to get the Chou-sui water. Dende and Popo are the first cleansed. This water is spread to everyone. Gohan, Goten, Trunks, (now free from Baby's control) and Pan surround Goku and form a circle to donate their energy to Goku. Goku and Vegeta-Baby face each other once again. Goku does a Kame-hame-ha and defeats Vegeta-Baby. Baby leaves Vegeta's body and runs to a space capsule to escape, but is killed. It is all over now, but now the worse has come. Since the Dragonballs were used again (to make a planet Plant), the Earth will be destroyed within two weeks. Goku and Kaio-shin transport everyone on Earth to planet Plant, but Piccolo refuses to leave the Earth, he tells them the he and the Earth are one, and if the Earth should die, so should he, because he loved it so much. He is left on Earth to die, and the Earth explodes and disappears. Thanks to the Namek Dragonballs, the Earth is brought back, Piccolo is still dead, and everything is back to normal. Note: This Saga is also called the Baby Saga not just the Bebi Saga SUPER 17 SAGA Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu team up in hell to create a being known as Android Artificial 17. They make a portal in order to go back into the land of the living and escape to Earth. Artificial 17 seeks Android 17 in order to fuse with him and transform himself into Super 17, and he does. In hell, Cell and Frieza had also been upgraded by the scientists, and had planned to take over hell. Goku falls for the plot and gets tricked into going to hell to fight Cell and Frieza. Without Goku on Earth, our heroes don't stand a chance against Super 17. During battle, Dr. Gero is held hostage. With Dr. Myuu's command, Super 17 kills Dr. Gero anyway. Later, Dr. Myuu also gets betrayed and killed. However, Krillin and #18 have also perished in battle. Meanwhile, Nappa escaped to Earth and Vegeta kills him again. Goku defeats Cell and Frieza, but is stuck in hell. Picollo, who is in heaven, causes chaos in order to be sent to hell where he can help Goku go back to Earth. With a Namek trick, Piccolo and Dende create a portal that allows Goku to enter back to Earth. A battle between Goku and Super 17 follows, and Super 17 is killed. EVIL SHENLON SAGA In order to bring #18 and Krillin back to life, the Dragonballs were gathered. When Shenlong is summoned, something goes wrong. Shenlong appears, but he looks a bit different and laughs wickedly, he is evil. Our heroes learn that the dragonballs have cracked due to negative energy that stored inside the balls when negative wishes were made. A cloud appears around the evil Shenlong, and it transforms into seven evil dragons, each of a dragonball. The dragons fly off in different directions and wreck chaos. Each dragon has its own element. When it finds that element, it will take on its true form. Goku and Pan fly off to fight these dragons. First, they encounter Ryan-Shenlong. Ryan-Shelong tells that he was born when Bora was wished back to life. This dragon of the 2 star dragonball is of water pollution. It was tricked into swimming in clean water. After it was weakened by this action, Gokou and Pan attack and kill it. The 2 star dragonball is restored. Goku and Pan follow the dragon radar's signal and encounter Uu-Shenlong. It was born in the 5 star dragonball when Gokou was wished back to life to fight Radditz. This dragon of electricity was weakened in rain and destroyed in its weakened state. The 5 star dragonball is recovered. Ryuu-Shenlong is the next to appear. This dragon was born when Oolong made the wish for women's underwear while fleeing from Pilaf. This dragon possesses the power of hurricanes. Gokou learns of its weakness and attacks it on the head. Ryuu-Shenlong was easily defeated and the 6 star dragonball was restored. Following this, Goku and Pan fly to Chii-Shenlong, which was born in the 7 star dragonball when all the people killed by Majin- Vegeta were wished back to life. Pan gets tricked and becomes trapped in the dragon's body. Goku rescues her and destroys Chii-Shenlong. Another dragonball is recovered. Suu-Shenlong is next for Goku and Pan to encounter. It was born when Piccolo was wished back to life. This dragon of the sun is associated with the 4 star dragonball. It challenges Goku in a match and the two fight. All of a sudden, San-Shenlong, Suu-Shenlong's brother and of the 3 star dragonball, appears. After getting mocked by his brother for losing honor in interfering with the match, the dragon of ice fights Goku anyway. It is slayed in battle, and Goku and Suu-Shenlong continue their match. Goku admires Suu-Shenlong's sense of honor. The match becomes interfered again when another third party kills Suu-Shenlong. This party is Ii-Shenlong, of the 1 star dragonball. Goku defeats it in Super Goku 4 stage, but the dragon survived. It defeats Pan and steals all the restored dragonballs. Ii-Shenlong fuses with the balls and powers up. Super Goku 4 is no match for it in its fused state. Bulma created a brute ray that allowed Vegeta to go Super level 4, and Super Vegeta 4 joins Goku in battle. The two are still no match for Ii-Shenlong. Another stategy is used: Super Goku 4 and Super Vegeta 4 fuse and become Super Gogeta (Gozita) 4! Ii-Shenlong is kicked around and the dragonballs it fused with are restored, but the fusion of Super Gogeta 4 wears off before Ii-Shenlong is killed. Ii-Shenlong fuses with the dragonballs once again, but Goku gets to the 4 star dragonball before Ii-Shenlong can and swallows it so that the dragon can't fuse with it. Eventually, Goku spits the dragonballs back out and Ii-Shenlong absorbs it. Vegeta suggests to use fusion again, but Goku is too weak to go Super level 4. Therefore, he remains in his small size; he cannot fuse with Vegeta in this state due to size differences. Ii-Shenlong boasts to kill Goku and Vegeta. One last chance of hope remains. Goku begins to create a Genki-Dama. Everyone on Earth raises their hands to donate energy to Goku. Goku teleports to Kaio and asks that the energy is not enough. The Kaios agree to help seek life forms across the galaxy to help donate energy to Goku. All the characters encountered in space in the Baby Series are shown again and they raise their hands. Goku's giant Genki-Dama is created and it destroys Ii-Shenlong. All the dragonballs are restored to normal, but something is wrong. Shenlong appears without being summoned and tells that he will not make any more wishes because of all the trouble the dragonballs have caused. Goku convinces it to make the final wish of restoring all the civilians killed during the fights against the dragons. The wish is granted, and Goku is told to ride on Shenlong's back. Goku does so. Chi-Chi and her sons go home to prepare a big feast while awaiting Goku's return, unaware what's going on. Pan notices Goku's tattered clothes on the ground and asks if her grandpa is gone for good. Vegeta replies that he is. On the dragon's back, Goku visits the Z warriors. At the end, Goku lies down and the dragonballs are absorbed into Goku and Goku disappears. Shenlong coils up and flies at the camera. The screen turns white. As for the epilogue, 100 years have passed and Goku Jr. (Pan's grandson) is at the latest Boudaikai Tenkaichi tournament. He and Vegeta Jr. (Vegeta' descendant) are about to compete. The two boys to Super Saiyan level and fight. Pan is a spectator in the audience, and notices a familiar face in the crowd it is adult Goku watching the fight at the other side of the stadium. Pan goes to him, but loses him in the crowd. Goku walks away, and clips of Dragonball-Z-GT are shown. And Dragonball sadly comes to an end.
