The Limit Break Page

This page will show what each persons limit breaks are what they do, and most importantly, how to obtain each characters final limit break. Gaining the first three levels of limit breaks is fairly easy, for all characters (except vincent/cait, i'll come to those later) you have to use the first limit break 8 times to gain the second in any particular level, to gain the next level the character must defeat 80 enemies. only when you've learned all 3 levels can you learn the forth.Vincent only has one limit per level, to get to the next level he must defeat 60 enemies. Cait only has two limit breaks, the second can be gotten by defeating 80 enemies.

Cloud

These are Cloud's Limit Breaks

How to obtain Omnislash: At the Golden Saucer Battle Arena gain 32,000 points and buy it

Aeris

These are Aeris's Limit Breaks

How to obtain Great Gospel: This is real git to get, you'll need the buggy from the Golden Saucer. On the continent with Golden Suacer, On one of the South East tips is a blacksmith, he'll say he needs Mithril. Now take you're buggy back to Costa del Sol and go back to the continent with Midgar and Junon on it, when you exit Junon your buggy will be there, you have to drive your buggy to the mountains south of Midgar where you'll find a cave with a sleeping man in it who will give you your stats. Fight battles untill the amount of battles you've had end in the same two numbers (77, 133, 144 etc...) and the man in the cave will give you mithril. Take this back to the blacksmith and he'll offer you one of the two boxes in his hut. Go up the stairs and take the small box which contains Aeris's limit break Great Gospel (the big box on the ground floor holds Golden Armour)

Tifa

These are Tifa's Limit Breaks

To obtain Tifa's Final Heaven: Once Cloud comes back on Disc two go to Nibleheim and play the following sequance on Tifa's piano: X,Sq,Tri,R1+Tri,R1+Sq,X,Sq,Tri,R1+O,R1+X,X,Sq,X. You may have to play it a few times to get the limit break (you'll know you're playing it right if you get things like 1gil and Materia)

Barrett

These are Barrett's Limit Breaks

How to obtain Barrett's Catastrophe: This one's easy. You must stop the train from crashing into North Corel, then talk to a women in one of the huts and she'll give you Catastrophe

Red XIII

These are Red's Limit Breaks

To obtain Red's Cosmo Memory: You must complete the side event in the Nibleheim Shinra Mansion, it's in the safe. Check the extras page for details of how to do this

Cid

These are Cid's Limit Breaks

To obtain Cid's Highwind: Once you have the sub find the Shinra plane underwater (Follow the weapon, it'll lead you there), His limit is in here, beware though, the Turks are waiting for you and the rest of the enemies are extremely strong!

Yuffie

These are Yuffie's Limit Breaks

To obtain Yuffie's All Creation: You need to complete the Yuffie/Wutai sidequest. I've detailed it on the extras page

Cait

These are Cait's Limit Breaks

How to obtain Cait's Slots: Simply defeat 80 enemies

Vincent

These are Vincent's Limit Breaks

To obtain Vincent's Chaos: You need to get to Lucresia's cave, again check the extras page for details of how to do this
