"Morning," Seifer replied with a hint of tiredness. He went back to packing.
"Hey gook luck on your first mission,"Selphie said.
"Thanks, but I don't need luck,"Seifer said. That made Selphie laughed. Seifer joined her.
"Bye," Seifer left with his smirk on his face.
"Bye,"Selphie said to his back.
Seifer left in a car. He was doing this mission with another person. He guessed that Headmaster Cid figured that he could handle it with another person. When he arrived, he was surprised how many monsters there were. He took out the Hyperion, his gunblade, and started slashing and firing. He managed to get the monsters around him dead. The others started to come toward him. Seifer tried to kill them but there was too many. Seifer was on the ground.
"Firaga!"Seifer heard someone yell. A hand was offered to him. He took it.
"Thanks," Seifer said panting.
"Hey that's what I'm here for,"his partner said. Seifer and his partner killed and killed. Soon they were tried out. They rented a room from the hotel. Seifer figured that they would finish tomorrow or the next day. He then fell asleep. The next morning Seifer woke up and saw that his partner was already up. Seifer took a shower. When he got out, Seifer saw that his partner was back with breakfast.
"we have a lot of monsters to kill," said his partner. Seifer took his breakfast and ate. Then he went outside to fight more monsters. That happened for the rest of the week. On Sunday, it looked like the monsters were almost all gone. Seifer and his partner went outside to kill the remaining monster and then they could go home. Seifer killed and slashed. Finally they could go home. Seifer went back to the hotel, exhausted, and started to pack. He took a car home, alone. Along the way it started to rain. As he near the entrance, he could see a figure in the rain, wearing a yellow dress. "Selphie?" Seifer wonder why she was outside. He drove nearer and saw that she was crying. Seifer quickly got out and went to Selphie.
"Selphie, what's wrong?" Selphie looked at Seifer.
"Everything. The storm hurt the stage and you know how I wanted the festival to be a success. Now there isn't going to be a festival," Selphie said between sobs. Seifer put his coat around her.
"Selphie, I want to see the damage," Seifer said.
�I still want see it, okay?� Seifer asked. Selphie nodded and got up. Seifer walked to the quad.
�That�s it? It�s not too bad,� Seifer commented. Selphie made it sound like the whole thing broke apart.
�I think I could fix it come on, I�ll walk you back to our dorm,� Seifer said. The two of them walk back to their dorm.
�G�night,� Seifer said before walking back to the quad.
Selphie woke up in the morning, a little hot because she slept in Seifer�s coat. She got up and took a shower. She walked out wearing Seifer�s coat. �Seifer.. I like him but he�s not my type. I mean, he slept with so many girls and just dumped them. I don�t want to get my heart broken. Everyone I cared for either left me or died. My parents died and back at the orphanage, everyone left before me. Maybe Seifer will be different. He didn�t try anything yet. If he�s going to break my heart that�s a chance I�m willing to take. I love him too much. Did I just say that? I� love� him? I love him!� Selphie had arrived at the quad. There was Seifer looking victorious. The stage was fixed! It looked just like it was before. Seifer looked at her. His hair is messed up and it look like as if he never went back to his dorm.
�Thank you Seifer! The stage looks incredible,� Selphie ran over and hugged him.
�Awww, It was nothing,� Seifer said then laughed. Selphie joined in. Seifer and Selphie went to their dorm.
�Selphie, I�m leaving the Garden,� Seifer told her.
�Why? You just made SeeD,� Selphie asked.
�I�m still going to be a SeeD, just not living here,� Seifer told her. He started packing.
�Why don�t you want to live here?� Selphie asked, her green eyes shining with tears.
�I just don�t,� Seifer replied, standing up when he finished packing. �It happened again. Another person I care about is going to leave me.� Selphie thought. She felt like crying.
�Here,� Seifer threw her a black box, �I�ll be going now,� Seifer left. Selphie opened the box with trembling fingers. Inside was a necklace, a silver band like the one Seifer had. Selphie turned it over and on the back were the engraved words Seifer Almasy. It was Seifer�s necklace! Selphie ran out of the dorm.
�Seifer wait!� Selphie called out. Seifer turned around.
�Uhhhh� Why did you give me your necklace?� Selphie asked.
�I plan to give my necklace to the one I love, and that person�s you,� Seifer told her with a smirk.
�Seifer�. I�m coming too!� Selphie exclaimed.
�Selphie are you sure? I don�t belong here but you do,� Seifer said.
�I�m sure. Just give me a second to pack,� Selphie ran back into the dorm. She packed really quickly and came back out.
�Selphie you sure you want to come?� Seifer asked her.
�Of course. I would go anywhere with you,� Selphie told him. She kissed him. Seifer put an arm around her and together they walked out of the Garden.
