Motor Upgrade Project
Various pics I shot during the upgrade

Major upgraded parts were heads, cam, & intake

Other parts were upgraded as well and I'll point them out below
Gotta take off the old to put on the new
At 45k on the clock, the motor was pretty clean
Just a little carbon build up on the piston tops
Roll Master t-chain and Billet indexed gear set
Notice the difference between this one and the oem stuff above
Scorpion 1.6 ratio stud mount roller rockers
AFR Aluminum stud mount heads ... 165 ports with 58 chambers
Its finally starting to all come together and look like a motor again

You can see the following parts in this pic.........
Mac 1 5/8" long tube headers
Roll Master chain & gears
Edelbrock RPM lower
Scorpion rockers
30lb injectors
AFR heads

Other major parts not shown in this pic are as follows........
Pioneer SFI harmonic balancer
Edelbrock RPM upper intake
Flow Tech Induction cam
Mac Cat h-pipe
The project was completed Christmas of 2002. These two motor pics were shot in August of 2005.

I guess that kinda sorta explains the
not so new look of everything, lol

A little spiff-up for the motor and motor bay is on the to do list

Only one  problem from the upgrade. The stock cooling system was
not up to the task. A Fluidyne radiator and Stewart High Flow water
pump makes for no worries, even in hot Texas summers.

All in All ...... Things turned out much better than I expected!
