Ridglea Theater - Ft. Worth

We opened for Lucy Loves Schroeder at their Ft. Worth CD release, with SuperSport playing between us and them.  Mike, Greg, and Mac were wearing construction worker suits and I was Lt. Neon, dressed in a neon yellow shirt, neon blue jacket, neon pink pants, and a neon yellow hat.  The show wasn't as sloppy as the last one, but if you had a sloppy-o-meter, you could still identify the band as the Filthy Reds.  We set up a TV and showed "Baseball's 101 Funniest Moments," which featured such amateur baseball delights as a kid hitting his dad in the crotch with a ball and another guy's pants falling down.  Mr. Zach "Stunt Drummer" Edwards manned the drums on Nicestacheville and Mr. Daron "Beardbuster" Williford manned the sax-o-phone on Bratwurst Party.  The crowd seemed to enjoy Bratwurst Party the most, although I was the most pleased with Brutha.  That and deciding to play Flash Man for the second time in one set.  Heh.  Greg lost his glasses and then found them broken.  And I left all our merch stuff in Austin, so we didn't have anything to sell.  But it was a fun show, LLS was awesome, and we joined them for a breakfast for dinner thing at the Ol' South Pancake house afterwards.  I had a coconut waffle and Greg lent me some of his powdered sugar to put on top.  Mmmmmm.

Here's the approximate setlist:

Greased Jesi, Party of Two

On the Road to Nicestacheville
