Monday, July 17, 2006 Unfortunately, my paying job forced me to go to work each of the last 20 days. But, I finally had Sunday off yesterday, and was able to get some serious reviewin' done.

A tragic love story, and a life lesson, courtesy of The Widow of St. Pierre (2000), ballet, music, romance, and high drama is provided by The Red Shoes (1948), three obnoxious young preppies learn that every silver lining has a cloud in Shallow Grave (1994). My wife wants to see the Depp pirate movie, so expect a review of an actually playing film soon, coming to a website near you.
