We decided to put our gift list on here for a number of reasons. For one, we believe that it is presumptious to expect gifts, thus it should not be put into the invitations- because that only makes one feel obligated to bring gifts. We want people to come to celebrate our wedding, not to feel frustration or obligation.
We thought about doing gift registries, but we don't like any one particular store, or even a couple, that would truly have the things that we wanted. Therefore, we decided that the best way to allow you to know exactly what we want is by listing them here. Each item has a link to the store page whereon it is found. It should have the price and all listed. Of course, we don't expect you to get the exact thing, so this is mostly for you to look at and form some ideas. Again- gifts are not necessary, so do not feel obliged!! |
