Born: May 4th, 1929

Audrey and her mother both survived the Holocast, which was later the cause of Audrey's many eating disorders and sometimes unhealthy weight loss for Audrey spent days on end surviving on turnips to survive from starvation.
Audrey starred in this London (and later New York) stage version of GiGi. Unfortunetly the 1950's film did not star her, but another ballet dancer named Leslie Caron.
Audrey in one of my favorite films (and scene from a film, as well) dances at an unusual new age club, in Funny Face (1957)
Audrey posing in a photo around the time she was married to Mel Ferrar, her first husband and father of her first son.
This has always been one of my all time favorite photo's of Audrey Hepburn. This photo really showed the poise and regal beauty she had. This photo was taken around the time she was starring in the film War and Peace (1956)
Another fabulous still from the film "Funny Face", which was not only a remarkable musical, but also remarkable in cinematography and color.
Another still of Audrey in the film, Funny Face.
A great photo of Audrey and Fred Astaire promoting the s'wonderful side of Funny Face
My Fair Lady (1964)
Audrey starred in 1964's "My Fair Lady," alongside Rex Harrison. The film was a huge success, garnering several Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Audrey, although nominated for Best Actress, it went to Julie Andrews for "Mary Poppins," who had been the original Eliza Doolittle on the London Stage.
Eliza sings gloriously while her maids dress her up for bed. She is ecstatic that she has finally learned to speak proper English.
After learning proper English and speech, Mr. Higgin's decides to test Eliza out at Ascot, to only find that she may need a little more refinement.
