We all know how un-freaking-lucky I am when it comes to vehicles.
Well, I am creating this page in an attempt to make peace with my car
history and maybe they'll take pity on me and start treating me better!=)
My very first car was a 1971 VW
Beetle. I worked my ass off as a
car hop at Sonic to save up the
money to buy a car and I finally
got this one a couple weeks before
turning 16. Well, I didn't get started
in drivers ed until I was 17, so my
bug sat in the drive-way at our
house for over a year.  After I was
in drivers ed, mom took me to the

parking lot at UTA and tried to
teach me how to drive a stick
shift. Well, I couldn't get the
hang of shifting and the whole
clutch thing (too much for my
brain to try to be processing at
the same time), so I sold my
precious bug to buy an automatic.

The automatic I bought was this 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88. I paid like $1250
for it and let me tell you, it was worth
the price. Don't get me wrong, it ran
great for quite a while. But, eventually
all the problems started happening.
First the heater went out in the winter
and in the summer the A/C went out.
Which is SO not a good thing with you live in
Texas. And then eventually the transmission
started going out and to get it going after a red
light, I had to floor it. And then it'd still take
a while to get it back up to speed. One day it
finally gave up and blew a rod and the engine
caught fire. That was, needless to say, the end
of that car.
After my white car died, I got my brand
new 2001 Kia Rio. Gawd, I LOVED that
car! It was so little and silver and cute!
I was so freaking proud of that car. It drove like
a dream, and I took it all over cause it wasn't a
piece of crap like my previous car and I could get
anywhere I wanted. But, after a couple months
of ownership, on the way to work one morning
it was hit by a shitty ass little 16 year old boy
who couldn't drive. As you can see, it was totalled.
Coming Soon: Pictures and information about my
latest driving acquisition, a 1995 Ford Contour.
