During that same year he founds his own studio GUARDA LA FOTOGRAFIA in Lochristi (B) and he specializes in making pictures of women or �female equivalents� as he calls them. Several Belgian female celebrities are used to visit his studio and very quickly Naudts is getting critical acclaim in the Belgian press and in Holland. Exhibitions follow one another.
His visit to Prague (CZ) gathers him with Daniela Mr�zkov�, main-editor of the Czech FOTOGRAFIE MAGAZ�N. A few later one of Naudts� photographs glitters on the cover of the magazine and an illustrated review counting six pages seduces Ivo Janou�ek to come out with an exhibition of Filip Naudts� work in his NARODN� TECHNICK� MUSEUM. The appearance of his first photobook as a logic result.
In datzelfde jaar nog richt hij zijn eigen fotostudio GUARDA LA FOTOGRAFIA op in Lochristi en legt hij zich voornamelijk toe op het fotograferen van vrouwen, of zoals hij ze zelf ook wel eens noemt �vrouwelijke alter ego�s�. Verscheidene Vlaamse bekende vrouwen vinden hun weg naar zijn studio en al gauw wordt Naudts gelauwerd in de Belgische pers en ook in Nederland. Tentoonstellingen volgen elkaar op.
Een bezoek aan Praag brengt hem in contact met Daniela Mr�zkov�, hoofd-redacteur van het Tsjechische FOTOGRAFIE MAGAZ�N. Even later prijkt een van Naudts� foto�s op de cover van het fotovakblad en een rijkelijk ge�llustreerd artikel van 6 pagina�s verleidt Ivo Janou�ek ertoe om het werk van Filip Naudts in zijn NARODN� TECHNICK� MUSEUM tentoon te stellen. Zijn eerste fotoboek als logisch gevolg.
