Dr. Edgar Diaz - 300 Game
Edgar bowled his perfect game in October 26, 1990 during the Petroleum Men�s 10-Pin League at the Silver Dollar Bowl & Action Centre in Calgary, Alberta. He finished the league with a respectable 192 average as a member of the Shooters team.
His 300 game was bowled during his 10th year of dentistry in Calgary & his 8th year in 10-pin bowling. How lucky can a man be? According to him, the excitement & all the cheering helped him accomplish what most bowlers strive for---to roll a perfect game!
The Calgary Sun & The Calgary Herald both covered this memorable 300 game on Friday, November 2, 1990 (a week after the event). However, when asked if he would consider giving up dentistry for professional bowling, Dr. Diaz� chuckling reply was, �I don�t want to starve.�
To date, Edgar is still a family man, a reputable dentist, and a respectable bowler.
