A.I. & the Sixers

After so many years of struggling, the Sixers acquired Allen Iverson for their number one draft pick in 1996. Since then, they have been constantly improving. A.I. is the "truth," "The Answer," and he can't be stopped. He's too nasty! Anyways, the Sixers had their best season during the 2000-2001:

*Season Record: 56-26

*The best record in the Eastern Conference

*Eastern Conference Champions

*The best road record in the NBA

*Coach of the year to Larry Brown

*Sixth Man of the Year to Aaron McKie

*Defensive Player of the Year to Dikembe Mutombo

*And the MVP to Allen Iverson (like I said before "A.I.3=MVP")

Some A.I. Quotes for you to ponder about:

*"It's like throwing rocks in the ocean...I just couldn't miss"

- After having a terrific game, he said the quote above. Basically, he couldn't miss that night. Damn, I mean the quote states what it means. The ocean is so big, how could anyone miss throwing anything in the ocean? A.I. was nasty that night, he couldn't miss!

*"Fast a Rolie...slow as a rolie polie"

- His single "40 Bars" says it all

*"Allen Iverson is like the North Pole...he as so much ICE!"

- This is a quote by myself. He has too much ice! If you're in Philly, you will understand why it's so cold. That's because A.I. is within the vicinity. Whenever you watch Channel 10 weather, the meteorologist will refer to an instrument known as the Doppler 10,000. It is really used to detect the presence of A.I. so be on a lookout for it!

*"Even AquaMAN will drown when my ice melts"

- A.I. said this in one of his tracks. Let's analyze this quote real fast. How can AquaMan drown? I mean, isn't that why he's called AquaMan? because his specialty is the water. Therefore AquaMan is all about being under water. But then how can he drown if A.I.'s ice melts? I can only conclude that AquaMan drowned from the following reasons: 1) A.I. has too much ice so when it all melted, the temperature of the water dropped significantly which caused AquaMan to die from hypothermea. 2) A.I.'s melted ice caused a great increase in the water supply which made AquaMan suffer from the tremendous water pressure. So sorry AquaMan!

Now let's think about the consequences if all of A.I.'s melts, will it really be possible to survive this?

Thanks to a friend a G-Town, I was able to go to the MCI Center in D.C. and watch the Sixers play against the Wizards. Of course the Sixers beat Jordan and his Wizards. The best part of it was that I sat on the floor, 4th row....DAAAAS RIAAAGHT! Pics are below:
