Fil-Am's Easter Celebration
Easter Sunday is a very special occasion for our club. Aside from commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we also celebrate the formal establishment of our club during Easter Sunday in 1971.
This celebration is normally highlighted with egg-hunting for children and a potluck picnic. For the main entree, our club usually provides pancit and lechon. We always try to hold this event at NASWI's Rocky Point Recreation area, the same place where our club was established.
For this event, we invite all Filipino-Americans and interested individuals in Oak Harbor and adjacent areas to share Easter Sunday with us.
