Christmas Dinner/Dance

CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS

A week or so before Christmas each year, we hold a dinner dance with varying highlights. The 1998-99 incoming officers of our Association were inducted during the 1997 Christmas Dinner Dance held at the Norwester Club, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. Shown in the picture above are (left to right) Ace Atienza, Washington State Senator Margaret Haugen, Aida Martin (1996-97 Fil-Am President), Ray Atienza (1998-99 Fil-Am President), and Washington State Representative Dave Anderson.

The 1997 Christmas Dinner Dance also featured the Rigodon de Honor dance, which we inherited from the Spanish regime in the Philippines. The picture below shows some of our Rigodon dancers.
