Pastor Francis Camacho and his family started the Fil-Am Bible Church in Summer 2005. Prior to this and upon his graduation, he pastored a church in Oakland, CA. Prior to becoming a pastor, he was working fulltime as a Silicon Valley Engineering Manager, working on his theological training, raising a family, and at the same time was actively involved in church. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at San Jose State University in May 1992 and his Master's in Divinity at Western Seminary in August 2001.

In his youth, Pastor Francis was an avid chessplayer, avid karate practitioner, jogger, juggler and bicyclist. He now devotes his time to ministering, operating a Copy shop, reading, raising a family, and taking his family to nearby parks and recreational areas. His passion is to clearly communicate God's Love by 1) opening up minds through reason and critical thinking and 2) winning the hearts through loving and warm acceptance. His favorite authors are Ravi Zacharias, J.P. Moreland, William Lane Craig, Lee Strobel, Alister McGrath, to name a few.

Pastor Francis is blessed to be married to his beautiful wife of more than 10 years, Theresa. They have a 9-year old son, Matthew Francis, and a 7-year old daughter, Rebekah Hannah.

His wife, Theresa, received the Lord through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ while she was working on her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at San Jose State University. She is now a Registered Nurse and has been working at Kaiser Permanente in their Pediatric Department since 1991.Though born and raised here in the States, she loves to cook and eat Filipino food and is fluent in Tagalog.
