Making your own Figwit stuff...
So far, I've made only two things that are Figwit themed for my new Elvish theme in my bedroom. But you don't have to have an Elvish theme to make these. You just have to love Figwit.  *wink*
The first    is just a Figwit picture to hang up on your wall.

If you have bought ANY Lord of the Rings figurine, you'll easily remember the pretty box it came in, with the One Ring on the outside circling the figurine that was on the outside.

Weeeeell... I really didn't want to throw my boxes away because I loved them. They were pretty. I also had mom print out some pictures of Figwit for me (since I'm obsessed and all), and I wanted to use them to decorate in some way...

What I did was carefully peel off the tape that connected the package together. Then I took off the front of the box, cutting off the back piece, the bottom, the top, and the side flaps that connected it to hold it together, along with the tape.

Mine was the extra bendable Gollum thingy. The one that also gives you a wall for him to climb. Well, now I had this figurine box cover with Gollum all over the front. I wanted to use this box, though, because it had Return of the Ring on the bottom, and I wanted to use Figwit's Autograph card picture to go along with it.

I simply measured the pic to size, got some tape, and taped it on the inside so that it would show on the inside of the ring. But now I had Gollum left. Gollum and Figwit just don't mix, I told myself, so I took two smaller pictures I had printed off some time ago of Figwit in FOTR. Again, I measured them to size, cutting off the extra paper, but being careful not to cut out Figwit in any way. Then I put him in position over Gollum and taped him on.

That's all there is to it! Then I just took some thumb-tacks and tacked him up on my wall. Here's what it ended up looking like. Click the thumbnails to see bigger views.
The second   is a framed Figwit picture to set on your shelf, or wherever you may view it best.

Again, it was a really simple project. I had pictures printed off of the computer of Figwit, and I bought an Elvish-looking picture frame.

Above, I mentioned a way you could use your Lord of the Rings action figure box as part of your project. On this one, I used the inside of the box that had a map of Middle Earth printed on it. All the toys seem to have these in some form or another.

I cut it to the shape of my frame where the picture would go. Then I just cut out my Figwit printed pics, placed them where I wanted them to be, and I had my Figwit in a picture frame to set next to my bed. Here's what it ended up looking like. Click the thumbnails for a larger view.
