Kelly Mann followed a boyhood dream in 1976 when he accepted his first professional job as a makeup artist, working for a TV station in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he grew up. Subsequent work in theater makeup, outdoor attractions and other live performances eventually led to Kelly's decision to pursue a makeup career in Hollywood, California! Successful in his quest for work performing facial transformations as a studio makeup artist, Kelly then expanded his expertise while in the employ of many leading producers, directors, actors and major film, Television, and entertainment companies, including Universal Studios, New Line pictures, Lorimar television, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. Studios, Buena Vista Pictures, and Walt DisneyImagineering. Kelly Mann delivers to his Clientel a vast array of expertise as Latex Technician, Special Effects Designer, Shop Foreman, Make-up Designer, Effects Technician, Movie prop Restoration Artist, Production Designer, Sculptor and Model Designer, and enjoys ever- increasing International acclaim as a Mask Maker, and figure finisher, heralded by collectors throughout the world as "The Mask Doctor!" His practical training in professional appliance, and straight makeup has given Kelly a uniuqe edge in the creation, maintenance, preservation and reconstructive restoration of masks,and sculpted figures.
