Marvin Hagler 9 DVD Career Set

Marvelous Marvin Hagler had to pave his own way to get to the top. After not getting a break, he finally got his title shot against Vito Autuofermo and instantly became a classic fight. Unfortunately, it was also surrounded by controversy as he was robbed of a decision. He finally became a champion when he defeated Alan Minter in London only to get bottles and beers thrown at him by the hostile crowd.

He went on to defend his title successfully 12 times. In those defenses, he fought the famous Roberto Duran who was the only fighter at the time to go the distance against Hagler in a championship fight. Hagler then participated in one of the most violent fights when he fought Thomas Hearns. He survived a fierce 1st round but came back to stop Tommy in 3.

His last professional fight and one of the most controversial was against Sugar Ray Leonard. After losing by Majority Decision and unsuccesfully trying to secure a rematch, Marvin Hagler retired for good.
