You are about to embark on a long journey to learn everything you want to know about Fighting Under Careful Knowledge. It has been a long time coming. We finally got everything together to bring the world our music.

Fighting Under Careful Knowledge was a band formed about 2 years ago. All 4 members were born and raised in Belcourt North Dakota. It started off with 4 members: Evan Hamley (Vocals/Lead Guitar), Richard (Sox) Davis (Vocals/Bass) Rod Peltier (Percussion), and Kyle Segarra (Rhythm Guitar). After playing a show at Turtle Mountain Community College, everyone loved our music, so we played at another show a couple weeks later. After that, three of us graduated and we all went our separate ways. Although we were apart, we still continued to excel in music. Evan and Sox started playing more shows with their other band Risen. Rod pretty much stomped the guitar and vocals, and Kyle went on to work on his guitar playing, vocals, and song writing.

After two long years of being separated, Fighting Under Careful Knowledge finally has a pulse again. Evan and Kyle decided to start collaborating together with their writing and their vocals. After just a few short jams, they recorded 6 songs that they wrote and started sharing their music with the world. Emotions was number 1 on the myspace.com charts in the state of North Dakota in three categories for 3 weeks straight. All of the other songs were in the top 10.
