Greetings everyone! Welcome to the Fightin' Farmers team page. I'm the team owner, Ron Leone. Some of you may remember me from other leagues like the Utah Football League, among others. I played in the UFL from 1999-2001. For the past four years I was in the Knute Rockne Football League and also have a retro team in the Old Timers Football Association, run by Chad Weyenberg of the Sports Attic.
I work as an educator in Fresno, CA. which is just about 50 miles NW of team headquarters in Farmersville. I'm really looking forward to playing in the innovative NQFL under the leadership of Matt Kreamer. He's a dedicated individual I've known for about 10 years running, Hope to get more acquainted with all the NQFLers in the near future. |
