Subject: Re: Survey Response Requested
I believe that our country, our county, and our families deserve laws that will enable them to live and thrive with dignity. This means that social programs must be put into place that protect the rights of all family members, domestic violence must not be tolerated, and we as a society must punish those people that commit violent acts on family members.
As a commander in the Air Force, I was responsible for thousands of family members around the world. I did not condone domestic violence and I constructed myriad policy letters to get that point across.
I served in the Air Force for approximately 30 years, I am a family man, and I had good parents that taught me values. Those values included respect for all people and the importance of "family". Because of them, I have been a High School Teacher, and now I am a College Professor at the College of Southern Maryland.
Thank you for this information and I do not remember being asked to furnish information for the Calvert Voters Guide. I did not receive word. But on the other hand, I am not surprised.
Thank you and can you give me directions from Upper Marlboro to the first event.
