Alcohol : Most of you are unaware of the fact that alcohol is a drug. It is scientifically known as ethyl alcohol and is used as a deppressant. Alcohol can be considered unique for it is legal for adults in most of the countries. It is greatly enjoyed by the teens and adults in western countries. Therefore alcohol is the deadly drug available. Effects : It can be the cause of High blood pressure , Heart attack , brain and liver relating diseases. Once the alcohol gets absorbed in the body and in turn has an adverse effect on speech and vision. Heavy dosage is also responsible for intoxication , depression , loss of coordination , blood red eyes , nausea , vomiting , coughing etc. Heroin : It is the most dangerous and addictive form of drugs. It i sconsidered the major problem around the world. Since these drugs are expensive and dangerous they force people to commit crimes such as burglary , pornography , muder , postitution to support their habits. Heroin is derived from opium poppies it is also commonly refered as black tar , mud , smack , china white etc. Effects : It induces , restlessness , constricted pupils, droopy eyelids , depression , apathy , decreased physical activity , nausia, vomiting , coughing , shallow breathing , clammy skin , convulsions , coma , death. Cocaine : It is present in the form of white chunky powder. It is commonly known as coke , blow , white snow , snort , flake , nose candy , hubba or cane. It is sold most commonly in foils , plastic or paper packets , or small vials. It is usually chopped into fine powder by a fine razor and arranged into small rows called lines. It is then quickly inhaled or snorted through the nose. Effects : It usually lasts for a span of 20 minutes. In this period the adict appears alert , energetic. Cocaine induces profound depression , runny nose , little or no appetite , intense desire for another dose of drugs, mental fatigue , restlessness , irritability. LSD : It is a powerful Hallucinogen. It is odorless and colorless chemically manufactured drug. It is commonly known as acid , blotter acid , microdot and white lightning. Since its very potential its dose is very small , microscopic. It ca768n be put on paper , gelatin , any other absorbant material and ingested. Effects : The effects last from 2- 12 hours. Its Physical effects include dilated pupils , elevated body temperature, high blood pressure , hallucinations , disoriented sense of direction , distance and time .
