| What is the one thing that all parents and teachers want from children? They want them to obey. Just like our Heavenly Father wants us to obey him. It is easy for a teacher to teach a child when they are obeying. When that child does not obey and is constantly creating problems, the teacher will try to find a more suitable class where the child will listen and obey. If we obey God all the time, then He will keep us and we will be his people. When the children follow the directions the teacher gives, then everything goes well with their school work. The Lord has given us very clear directions. We just need to do the homework assigned to us everyday and follow God's command, and it will go well with us. There are no late assignments or make-ups once we graduate from this life and face God before his judgement seat. So let us do what God wants us to do when He tells us. |
