| Warm Caramel Apple Bread Pudding
Serves/Makes: 8 Ready In: 1-2 hrs Ingredients: 1 quart cream 6 eggs 4 ounces sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 small loaf French bread 3 Granny Smith apples 1 pound caramel, melted Directions: Cut bread into cubes and toast. Place bread into buttered Pyrex dish, and alternate layers of caramel and sliced apples until full. Mix cream, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Pour over bread and apples. Bake at 300 degrees in a water bath for 45 minutes to an hour, until set. |
