| Corn-Green Chili Casserole
2 (10-ounce) packages frozen whole kernel corn 2 tablespoons butter 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese 1 tablespoon sugar 1 (4-ounce) can chopped mild green chilies, drained Preheat oven to 350*F (175*C). Lightly grease a 1-quart baking dish; set aside. Cook corn according to package directions; drain and set aside. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add cream cheese and stir until blended. Stir in corn, sugar and green chilies. Spoon into prepared baking dish and bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Makes 6 servings. |
