The main purpose of moving to a Nome and living in a city is to get to know people and make friends. Our citizens in real life live in all parts of the world and we have come together here to hopefully create the best and friendliest Nome in all of Egypt. If you decide to be a part of the Nome and the PiRamesses group you will be living in the time of Userma'atre'setepenre' (1272-1212 BC). This was a great time in Kemet (Egypt) but the hated Hittites remained a strong force and great battles were fought against them. Kemet was ruled from the city of PiRamesses which was built from stones taken from the city of Tanis.
If you wish to be a citizen of Sais or Buto you need to contact Rapachi Amenhotep or Akhenhotep Horemheb. You MUST be a member of the PiRamesses group in PanHistoria. New citizens will be added to the citizens list in the Nome under the city of your choice, either Sais or Buto. Your arrival within the Nome will be anounced on the Administration thread and you are invited to post a message there as well. This will let everyone in the Nome know that you are a citizen and let them have the opportunity to get to know you. At the bottom of the Nome page and at the top of the Administration board there is a link to the page where you can get your Nome and/or city banners. If you are a citizen of the Nome then you are expected to have one of the banners on your entrance to your house/per. If you do not have one on your entrance then we will assume that you have moved and promptly remove you from the citizens list. Nome and/or city titles can be obtained from from either Rapachi Amenhotep or Akhenhotep Horemheb. If you request a specific title then do some research and be prepared in case there is any questions concerning the requested title.
If for some reason you have to delete your character or decide to move to another Nome then out of courtesy please inform Rapachi Amenhotep. Deleting the character and starting another will cause the member ID number to change and thus make the URL to your house/per different. Even starting a new character with the same name will make the link to your house/per not work if the URL on the Nome page is not changed.
It is our desire that everyone be friends within the Nome but if for some reason there is a problem then please inform Rapachi Amenhotep. Most citizens like it when you include them in your posts but please do not defame them or kill the character off. If it is something questionable then its always better to get their permission before including them. We know it is difficult for a new citizen to join in with the role play, everyone was new at one time or another. Please ask one of the members that have been here a while to help you if you need help with the story line. The Role Play board is to be used just for role play, all other posts should go on the Administration board.
If you would like to serve as a priest or priestess please contact Sparrowhawk Tewosret (the High Priest of Neith) in the city of Sais or AnkhesenpaAton (the High Priestess of Wadjet) in the city of Buto. Titles concerning the priesthood will be given out by the High Priest/Priestess of their respective Netjer.
If you have an idea about a "business" that you would like to do then contact Rapachi Amenhotep. Please remember to keep the business historically based. All businesses will be linked to Market Street after they have been checked for content. A link back to Market Street will be needed on the first page of your business.
Personal shrines can be built for any Netjer of your choice and will be linked to the Temples page. A link back to the Temples page will need to be on the first page of your Shrine site. AnkhesenpaAton will gladly help you with this if you need help.
