The Fifth Column Review is published quarterly and accepts works of short fiction and poetry. All submissions must be original and unpublished. Submissions must be made by post (electronic submissions will not be read). Please send three typed, double-spaced copies of one story or up to three poems (poetry may be single spaced) to the mailing address given below. Fiction submissions should not exceed 6,000 words. Submission closing dates are as follows: winter, 1 October; spring, 1 January; summer, 1 April; autumn, 1 July. Manuscripts unaccompanied by a SASE cannot be returned. Simultaneous submissions are not accepted. Questions, comments, and queries may be made through the following e-mail address: [email protected]. N. B. Manuscripts received after a closing date will be held over and considered for the succeeding issue. |
