Civilian List:

 

(Civilian impressions range from the basic to the most elaborate)

 

Mens impressions have two basic themes. The working men's and the formal (Sunday best) outfit.

Working or everyday clothing for a man could consist of but not limited to; Slouch type or straw hat, jean wool or marl cloth trousers, wool socks, over shirt or knit shirt, civilian vest, short coat, brogans, civilian work shoe or ankle boot.

Formal clothing would consist of but not limited to; A nicer style of hat (top hat) black or dark brown wool pants, black or dark brown civillian frock coat, black or dark brown civilian vest, tall boots, maybe a cane, leather gloves or gold pocket watch for an added touch.

 

Woman also have two basic themes. Day or working and formal.

Womans working or day impression could consist of but not limited to; Straw hat, bonnet, snood, camp dress, bodice with skirt, three piece day dress, (there are many types of non formal womans dress) cotton stockings, basic ladies shoes or high top boots.

Womans formal impression could consist of but not limited to. Lace gloves, parasol, evening or ball gown, tea bodice with skirt

 

Camping equipment:

 

Same as for a soldier with the exception of no dog tents or shelter halfs which were a military issue item for soldiers.

Civilians tend to have a bit more comforts in their tents. Things such as a throw rug, mirror, flowers, small table, oil lamp. Things of this nature that were from the year 1865 or before.
