10/30/2005 - I really have been lazy..well not completely. I could be doing some homework right now, but I really don't feel like it. I'll get it done tonight. I went to good ole Alma, Arkansas this weekend. Gunny brought a bunch of MECEPS and a handful of us Midshipmen (and an OC) to judge a JROTC drill meet. We left Friday afternoon and stayed at The Aspen in Fort Smith, AR. We got payed to have a good time. The unit payed for the hotel, transportation (our 2 government vans), and our dinner Friday night at the Outback. It was nice. And it was a little more money in my pocket. We spent all day yesterday judging a bunch of JROTC units from different high schools. It was freezing most of the day, and I still ended up with a sunburn on my face. I had an awesome time though.
Let's see..what else? I haven't been home in awhile. Not since the first week of this month. My dad came down last week, which was cool. We went to Hideaway's and got pizzas, and I went with him to get a part for one of his tools. We had a good time, though. I was supposed to go home for my mom's birthday, but that didn't happen because her and Caitlin were sick. That was the night of the Navy Ball, which was not all that exciting, but still fun. It got us all in our dress blues. Next weekend is the Marine Corps Ball. I think me and Wllis are going to Ponca after that. We'll see. So..that's about all for now I guess..

10/11/2005 - So, I left this in shambles yesterday..mid-entry and with crap lying all over the place. That's what happens when it's time for class. SO...the run was fun. And it was really nice to get back to my dorm and SLEEP. My bus got back at about 10:30 and I was dead.I went to take a shower..and it ended up being freezing cold. This dorm sucks when it comes to showers..there has not been any hot water for like 2 weeks. Anyway..I got in the shower..and got out as quickly as possible, and climbed into bed with all of my blankets on me. I fell asleep and woke up to Mark calling..which ended up being like 5:30 in the afternoon/evening..whatever it is. Willis got back an hour or so later and we went to Ponca. That was the weekend..I hung out at home.I did find the third Twilight Zone collection, though. I was pretty excited about that. So..anyway..I guess that's all. I'm hungry..and I need to eat some food..cuz that's what you do when you're hungry..

10/10/2005 - Wow..it's been a little while. And..and oh so much has been happening. I finally got myself of remedial PT. It wasn't too hard. Just had to everything a little better than I did before. That's not asking too much. I went home this weekend..and I was in Tulsa with Willis a few weekends ago. But..yeah..that's about all I can remember from anything before last week. And, last week was a blur in itself. From Thursday on, it all seems like one big long day. We had an inspection on Tuesday that went pretty bad, and our platoon commander made us come back on Thursday morning to redo it. It was supposed to be at 6, but someone brought up that we had to kick off our run to Dallas at 7 and wouldn't have enough time, so we got it moved to 5. That meant, we had to be in uniform, in formation, ready to go before 0500. Most of us didn't even go to bed..we got to the armory and we were dead tired. Then, it was a short break before we had to be back at the armory in pt gear to get the run going. Bob Stoops was there to hand the ball off to BNCO (the batallion commander) and that all went fine. So..luckily I only had 1 class that day..but I had a ton of homework to do and got zero sleep. It was no fun. On Friday, the bus for my shift to run left at 1:15 in the morning..which again meant no sleep at night. We left the armory at 0115 and got to our start point at 4. I was the first to run, and went my 4 miles before getting back in the van. I eventually got back out a few more times and ended up running 11.1 miles..and compared to a lot of people, that wasn't even a whole lot. A bunch of guys ran 15..20..25 miles. It was insane.
