| August 19 ~ Well, the Trauma of the Week was buying the little bugger below. *screeches* In Elizabeth's lifetime, she has never witnessed her parents in the New Car Buying Stance, with the glazed eyes and the nervous hands. They pulled through it most admirably, and with the peace of mind that the extended warrenty provides, they have successfully replaced our cash-guzzling Crown Vic. Congratulations! |

| 12 August ~ You know the old Singer that we picked up on Cape Cod during our travels? Well, it has been cleaned and serviced, pronounced "excellent", and quite ready to be used and researched! Elizabeth is peeved that some blighter neatly stamped out the serial number, so it will be harder to prove that her machine was Really made in Clydebank, Scotland.
