2003 ~ St. Patrick's Day
The Quivey's wait in San Francisco's picturesque Kate O'Briens for the parade to kick off.
The Irish Heritage Pipe Band on the streets of San Francisco.
The Irish Heritage Pipe Band with local Irish dancers later in the evening in front of Houlihan's. David and Elizabeth are on the far right.
July ~ Reno Celtic Celebration
When the Pipe Major's away, the pipers play!
While Mike was off to Scotland to compete at Worlds, the rest of the band traveled on to Reno for a weekend of fun!
An unattractive picture of pipers blowing, with David, Elizabeth, Laura and Jay.
A better picture of Elizabeth, Not piping!
Joe in the background is watching John Mitchell fix David's reed.
Labor Day Weekend ~ Pleasanton
Yet another weekend in warm, sunny Pleasanton sneaks upon us. Lucky Irish Heritage finds the last bit of shade on the fairgrounds, and competes away, winning 3rd place in the March Medley. Elizabeth is up front, David is... lost in the pack...
This picture is posted with much reluctance...
An hour and a half into the warm-up/tuning session... and hour and a half of playing
Green Hills of Tyrol over and over and over and over... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
The Medley competition, and yet another 3rd place win. Not bad for a strenuous weekend!
September ~ Dixon Games
A much more relaxing day, a much more relaxing competition, and comfortable 3rd and 4th place finishes, not a bad way to end the season!
The Irish Heritage's built in fan club - the 79th New York's own Steve, Jerry, Michael and Joel - raise a glass to the departing band.
