It was a classic game of two halfs as Falkirk and Clyde fought out a hard earned 1-1 draw at Brockville.  Clyde cut Falkirk to bits in the opening 45 minutes and Jamie Mitchell though he had given the Bully Wee a dream start after 17 minutes when he chippen Myles Hogarth from inside the box.  Referee Hugh Dallas, though, ruled that Mitchelll had controled the ball on his arm.

Jamie Mitchell did put Clyde ahead after 26 minutes when he ran from the half way line through a static Bairns defence before slotting the ball home, un-challenged, from close range.  Kevin McAllister should have made it 1-1 when Andy Lawie's 70 yard clearance bounced over the Clyde keeper but the defender got in the block Crunchie's shot.   Paul Wright really should have made it 1-1 just before the break when he was put through on goal but keeper Budinaukas got down well to save.  When Falkirk did finally beat Budinaukas it was in the shape of John Henry's header that hit the bar before going over.

Super sub Ricky Waddell got the Bairns back level when, with his first touch of the game he stabbed home a corss from Mark Kerr. Paul Wright had another chance to grab a goal with a chance almost identicle to the one Waddell scored but he couldn't get that vital touch at the back post.
