Falkirk lined up with latest loan-signing Lee Wilkie starting in the centre of defence along side Steven Rennie. It was all change in the midfield with Morris coming into the centre and Steven Craig starting on the left.  The usuall strike force of Lee Miller and Paul Wright made up the line up.

Falkirk took an unexpected, if deserved, lead in this match when Ian Morris put Lee Miller through on goal, keeper Alan Ferguson's tactics of trying to put Miller off by slipping and falling on his ass didn't work out nd as the lard but keeper got back to his feet Miller placed the ball under him to make it 1-0.

Falkirk have developed a nastly habit of thowing away leads this season and in-keeping with tradition gave a goal away only 6 minutes later.  Steven Rennie mis-controlled the ball, Craig McPherson took full advantage by hitting a booming shot across goal, off the post and in.
Half Time: Falkirk 1-1 Airdrie
The Bairns almost took the lead a few times at the start of the second half but two great saves from Ferguson in the Airdire goal kept the Diamonds in it.  Following Myles' duff-up last week you would have sworn he couldn't have done it again, or could he?  well not exactly.  After 66 minutes a simple kick went hideously wrong for the former-Jambo when the ball landed thirty yards out at the feet of Mark Roberts.  The one-time Bairn had no hesitation in chipping the ball calmly over the head of Hogarth to make it 2-1 at the final whistle.
Jamie McQuilken shows the Mark Roberts how to play...is that a pigeon at the bottom left? e-mail me with your views
Kevin James goes down injured (after hitting his head off an aeroplane no doubt)
It's peedos paradise as Young Falkirk U-8's take to the field at half time...they should have just left then on for the second half!
MAN-OF-THE-MATCH

6.  Kevin Christie
At the end of the day...
We had chances today but, as always, we simply couldn't turn them into goals.  With lack of edge, of spark, of "hoo-aah" up-front we simply have to admit that we aint gonna score a big wad of goals this season, consequently we cannot afford to loose a big wad of goals this season.  With the inconsistancy in defence and the lack of hoo-aah up front we seriously need the midfield to play to there best but with departure Watson and Henry this could also prove to be an up-hill struggle.  So we're agreed that the defence is dodgy, the mid-field aint there anymore and the strikers have no flare, and the less said about Myles the better  Till next time take care of yourself, and each other!!!!

Do you disagree with me here, of do you simply fancy an agrument.
E-mail me and we'll argue some more!
