| Falkirk left it very late to secure all the points against a fired up Rovers side. Raith had the best of the first half and looked domineering as Falkirk defeded very very deeply. In the second half Falkirk came back into the match but poor defending allowed Kevin Nichol a shot on goal inside the six yard box and as far as I could tell it was Davie Nicholls who got the ball off the line. Steven Craig was presented with a golden oppertunity, he ran half the length of the pitch only to be roobed at the very last second just as he was about to shoot. Falkirk eventually grabbed a goal in the 89th minute when Mark Kerr's brilliant ball was met at the back post by Ricky Waddell. The youngsters diving header gave Rovers keeper Sammy Monin no chance. Just as the dust settled from that one Falkirk struck again. A brilliant ball in from the left was met at the front post by Gareth Hutchison whos glancing header flew across goal and in at the back post. |
