Falkirk started this match slowly and to be honest never really got going at all.  The first chance of the match fell to Clyde.  The high ball was played into Pat Keogh who headed laughably over the bar from about 3 yards.  Falkirk could easily have taken the lead just a few minutes later.  Kevin McAllister swung the ball into the box and Clyde defender Simon Mensing hammered the ball back off his own cross bar.  Clyde did take the lead just before the break when Pat Keogh went down following a soft challenge from Andy Lawrie.  He took the kick himself and sent Hogarth the wrong way.
Half Time : Clyde 1-0 Falkirk
Ian Morris, who was utterly hopeless in the first half, was surprisingly allowed to stay on for the second half and just as well he did.  Falkirk hit back with 25 minutes to go.  Ricky Waddell crossed the high ball over to the back post for Ian Morris to nod home.  Clyde have keeper Bryn Halliwell to thank for keeping the score line at 1-1.  In the dying seconds he pulled off the great one handed save to deny Lee Miller
