The Respray |

As of July 21st 2006 the car has been resprayed sunburst red by me, with the exception of the bonnet which has still to be done. I intend to rebuild the car with full XR2 mk2 mechanicals, bodykit and interior over the following winter. |

Update 12th Sept 2006 - the bonnet has now been sprayed and the slow process of flatting the paintwork back with 1500 grit wet/dry paper will begin shortly. Over the winter I intend to swap the mechanicals from the donor XR2 and get it roadworthy for May 2007.....thats the plan anyway... |
