WUX 717Y
This XR2 Fly is one of the first convertibles I ever saw. It spent many years in the village of Dersingham in Norfolk, owned by the daughter of the local postmaster. I even sold her a set of pepperpot alloys for it. It was sold at the end of the 1990's to another lady who lived in the Norwich area, and was then sold to her mother apparently.
These picture were taken by me at the Fiesta In The Park show at Kettering in Northants during May 2000. At the time the car was in generally very good condition but the front edge of the drivers front wing was bubbling badly with rust just weeks from breaking through.
The last I heard it was going to be spruced up.
