VLJ 273X
Ebay really is dragging these cars out of hiding. VLJ 273X was listed on September 24th 2005. When the auction ended it made just 80.

The car was sdvertised as a genuine Fly, converted from new by F.English. The seller had bought the car to obtain the XR2 engine that had been fitted to a car which according to an RAC datacheck is actually a 1.1L. The gearbox, suspension and brakes have been uprated to cope with the increase in engine size.

It was described as structurally sound with a good hood/mechanism, but suffering from the usual Fiesta rust spots, although the inner wings and sills were described as solid.

The car has been off the road for 2 years after failing the MOT on exhaust emmisions.

Lets hope whoever bought this bargain can get it roadworthy again.
