| This song represents how I have come to view the world. I want to save every person that I ever meet in my life, but I can't; I can only help lead them to Christ and then let him work in their hearts. It also deals with the everyday struggles that we all have. I mean when we sin, we don't even realize that we just disrespected God. The line "as I stare into my transgressions, I am compelled by our diversions" is one the most meaningful lines to me. It means that when I am thinking about all the wrongs I have done to other people and to myself, I realize that it is hard to keep the blame on myself, where it desrves to be. In general, when we do something that we know is wrong but can't help ourselves, we always try to find an excuse (any excuse) to take at least some of the blame off of ourselves so that we don't feel as guilty as we should. And when your deling with this kind of situation, it is best to come clean to Go right away, repent as soon as possible, then he will help you deal with the consequences that you have brought upon yourself. |
| "Together we bleed" pretty much sums itself up in the title alone! But it goes a little bit deeper as well. As you know, usually it is the angels who sit on the right-hand of God,but the reason why I said that "all I've ever wanted, is to be on the right hand of the father" is because I really like angels and through my life I have seen many comparisons in the way I live and what the duties and responsibilities of angels are. You may be thinking to yourself, that no human could ever be an angel; I readily know this, but that doesn't mean that it is a bad thing for me to want to be messenger of God! |
| This is about how through my entire life I have seen many kinds of visions like death,despair,vulgarity, and the worst things you can possibly imagine from the likes of hell. I also have been through a lot of crap in my life! I am definately NOT saying that my life is the worst in the world, I'm not even going to tell you that it is worse than what your life is, all I am trying to say is that I have seen so many visions, lived through diseases, lost family/friends to disease/suicide/murder/freak accidents, and have come out of an enviroment that doesn't really have room for God in it to be right here, speaking to you about how I am still alive and strong and how Jesus has saved me for all eternity! The line "the day I die has been shown to me, ever since the day I was born" is reminiscent of the first vision I've had, that I can remember, and it basically told me that I was only going to be alive until I am 26 years old. I know this is young, and to some of you, your either thinking that I am making this up or that I would do something completely stupid to make this come true; but I won't !!! Common sense should tell you that ANY person of God would never kill themselves just to make it look like it was an act of God! That would be an act of pure pride and vanity,hence, being a sin and thus keeping me out of the gates of heaven for all eternity, only to live in total damnation down in the fires of hell! I'm not completely saying that my vision is true, I honestly hope it isn't; but I'm sorry, it's what I have always believed and I will always believe it until the day I am proven wrong!!! |
| Though this song is unreleased to many of you, I think that it is important to share the meaning of this song. It is about a girl who has tried her whole life to appear as innocent and respectable as possible to everybody that would pay attention to her. But the problem was that she had lost touch with God in the process of trying to present herself in the best way possible. She lost all contact with her real emotions and let the fake ones take over. She never took into consideration how it made everybody feel towards her or how God was really looking at her. I picked the bible verse at the end (Psalms 16:4) because it says that if you put anyone/anything before God, that he will make those people miserable in their world of fakeness. |
