Saggi sighed as he sat by the edge of a small pond in the middle of a forest. He had just gotten back from a sparring match against Dark's little sister, Dark Magician Girl. Needless to say he wasn't going to be sparring for awhile.

"This is what I get for accepting her spar challenge when her lover is around." he muttered to himself as his form shifted to his real one. His newly revealed long blue hair was caked in blood and his deep purple eyes were bloodshot from exhaustion.

 "You really should be careful Saggi-kun. Staying up late and going days before you do sleep is going to get you hurt or worse." A new voice echoed from the trees behind him behind him.

He turned to see who had found him and sighed in relief when a slender form walked from the treeline, dark raven black hair falling below bare shoulders and sunlit pale skin.

"Jestrix." the blue haired monster greeted quietly as his friend stopped before him. He looked down nervously as his friend leaned foreword and ran his hands over his body, checking for serious injury. Satisfied that none of his injuries were too bad blue eyes looked up into purple.

"You need to sleep. Your body will not handle too much more." he said evenly, but with concern in his eyes.

"I-I know but…" he looked back down.

"But you feel too alone when you don't go and see him because you have so few friends in this realm to be with."

Saggi looked back up, tears held back in his eyes.

"Yes." he whispered.

Jestrix moved foreword and pulled his friend into an embrace. The tears fell as the warmth surrounded him and his friend rubbed his back soothingly.

A few moments passed before the dark haired monster pulled his calmer friend away.

"Come on you got blood all over and it's starting to dry." he said as he pulled his friend to the water.

"Wait…what about my AHHHH!!" Saggi yelled as Jestrix pushed him into the cold water, fully dressed.

Jestrix grinned and squatted by the water.

"Cold yes?"

A glare was his answer. Jestrix laughed before pulling his own clothes off and jumped into the water with his friend. Saggi sighed as the water warmed.

'Ah the advantages of having a fire demon friend.' He thought as the other monster turned him around and helped him get the blood from his hair.

"Thanks Jesse-kun." he said as he leaned into his friend's touch.

"Anytime." was the reply.

Long after the scene in the forest and Saggi's departure from the Shadow Realm, Jestrix sat back against a large rock thinking back into the day's events.

"Will you help me now?"

"Yes I will. I don't like to see him like this." he replied as two icy blue eyes watched him from the shadows.

"Thank you."

"Let me make this perfectly clear. I am NOT doing this for you. ONLY for him." he said quickly.

"I understand."

"No…No you don't Ryuu."

I think I’m going to invest in a Tyrant Dragon muse...
